This is just gonna be a quick chapter about just really brief stuff!
Character ages are not true to the actual genshin storyline. I made the characters' ages different just so it worked well with my storyline that I've created!
I won't be providing too much background story because I want you guys to find that out throughout the book! I'll also update this as the story continues if I end up adding more characters!
Remember that all that is said below is for my adaptation of the story! I understand some headcanons / things I have changed for the story aren't true to genshin lore, it's just how I've adapted genshin lore for my story! I love genshin and its lore, and I mean absolutely no disrespect to what I change!

Xiao
Age: 17
He still has kind of the same backstory! The four other yaksha were his "siblings". Since he was a baby, about six months old, he's had his powers etc that he shows in game! He's not been made Liyue's 'official' yaksha (may happen in the future). He suffers from mental illnesses such as anxiety and chronic nightmares. He is also very closed off. Throughout his younger teenage years, Zhongli has trained him to be stronger, faster, agile, smarter, etc. Zhongli is his biological father, along with Ganyu being his biological sister. Their mother is no longer in the picture. More will be revealed throughout the story!
Venti
Age: 17
Venti's drinking problem stems from family stress, along with mental illnesses such as anxiety, depression, and ptsd. He is on track to become the Anemo Archon when he turns 18. His mother will appear several times throughout the story, his father is currently not in the picture. More will be revealed throughout the story!
Zhongli
Age: 42
He has pretty much the same backstory. His biological children are Xiao and Ganyu, his best friend since a very young age is Hu Tao. He is also close with Aether and Diluc. His wife is no longer in the picture. He works with Hu Tao at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor in Liyue. More will be revealed throughout the story!
Ganyu
Age: 19
Biologically related to Zhongli (father) and Xiao (younger brother). They have different mothers, hers is also not present. She struggles with anxiety and the need to be perfect. She's also very selfless. More will be revealed throughout the story!
Aether
Age: 18
He basically has the same backstory as genshin lore. He arrived in Teyvat to look for his sister who was kidnapped by unknown God. He resides in Mondstadt but travels between Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma often. More will be revealed throughout the story!
Diluc
Age: 25
He also basically has the same genshin lore backstory. He works at Angel's Share in Mondstadt and mainly resides in a house next to the pub. He is very close friends with Venti. His father and mother are not in the picture. He has a biological brother, Kaeya. More will be revealed throughout the story!
Kaeya
Age: 23
Knight of Favonius in Mondstadt, he is close with Jean, Lisa, and his best friend Rosaria. His biological brother is Diluc. Their parents are not in the picture. Him and Diluc live together in the house next to Angel's Share. More will be revealed throughout the story!

More characters will be added to this as they are introduced into the story! I tried to not release as much because I want everything to be found out in the story, I just wanted to give some generic information. If you have any questions or ideas let me know and I'll try to incorporate them!
