Reunion

I ran onto the bridge and she spun me around in the air. She put me down and I hugged her tightly "I was so worried about you babe!" I said into her ear "I was really worried about you too Don. I'm never gonna leave your side again" Anne walked onto the bridge in amazement "You're here too?! I wasn't sure. I woke up all alone, is Marcy with you?! Where have you been? We've missed you so much!" We were pulled into a tight group hug "I'll fill you both in later. Right now, I'm just glad I found you both. We came as soon as we heard you were here" "We?" I asked confused "Yep. Just me and a few friends of mine" It was a whole army of toads, the one with some red armor opened his eyes "Nice to finally meet you both. Anne Boonchuy, and Donnie Northwest Pines" Before we could say anything else, a bunch of the toads jumped into the town and scared everyone "Sasha! The toads!" Anne shouted in fear "C'mon Anne, we've gotta get-" "Woah chill guys, they're with me" "Wait what?" Anne and I asked at the same time. Then we heard Sprig and his fam, along with Claire and hers, running towards us "Anne, Anne, Anne, Anne, Anne, Anne!" "Donnie, Donnie, Donnie, Donnie, Donnie, Donnie!" The little guys came running up to us scared "Toads! They're everywhere!" Shouted Sprig in a panic "We only just slipped out while the-" Claire was interrupted by Polly "Holy toot! Another Anne!" "I thought like this might happen, guys this is Sasha, the girl I was telling you about" I explained as I grabbed her hand "She's my best friend from back home" Anne said as she introduced her to the frogs "Hey" Sasha greeted "Sasha meet the Plantars. This is Hop Pop" "Eh" "Sprig" "Hey, Hey" "And Polly" "S'up" "Those guys took Anne in, and the Salamanders are The Florences. Connie" "Pleasure" "Claire" "Hiya!" "And Sammy" "Yo" Sprig stepped in front of Sasha "Hey I'm Anne's bestie too. I Guess that makes me your bestie-in-law" I couldn't help but laugh a little, I'm a sucker for bad puns "Right" was all Sasha could say. Sprig started having a nervous reaction "Did y'all feel that?" "Walk it off boy" Hop Pop said as he pushed Sprig gently aside "Yes, hi, nice to meet ya. Now can someone please tell me why there's a toad army invading Wartwood?!" "You're Hop Pop? I thought you'd be taller. Relax, we're not invading anything. C'mon, I'll everything to the townsfolk. After all we don't want to keep Grime waiting" "Captain Grime?!" Hop Pop exclaimed "The cruelest toad soldier of all time?!" "Here?!" Sasha just scoffed "He's not so bad once you get used to him. Now c'mon nerds" Anne and I chuckled "She's persuasive ain't she?" I asked, we followed her into the town. Anne, Sasha, Grime, and I took the stage "Frogs of Wartwood!" We toads have come here to..." "Oh boy this ain't gonna go down well" I thought. Grime pulled confetti out of his cloak "...invite you to a banquet!" I was very confused "The moment we heard that Anne and Donnie were around here, we rushed over to reunite these 3 and hold a celebration!" (One thing I should mention, but don't remember how exactly, but Connie and I once fought off a couple of toads) Sasha pulled us into a group hug and kissed my cheek "I missed you so much" I whispered. Sasha rubbed my head to tell me that she missed me too "Really?" Came the voice of a certain old frog "Yes. Despite my rough exterior, I really am just an 'old softy'." Sasha signaled at him to smile, and he did "OH MY PENNYWISE!!!" I shouted "Woah woah woah Donnie calm down" Sasha exclaimed and she hugged me until I calm down "OK that's better" Sasha stopped hugging me and pushed Grime out of the way "Uh, so, whatt'dya say Wartwood? Ready to party back at the tower?" Nobody said anything, until Mrs Croaker spoke up "What does Anne think?" "Sasha's been my friend since kindergarten. If she says it's fine, it's fine" "Whoo! All aboard the party barge!" Sasha shouted

Soon enough everyone was climbing onto a trailer with "PARTY" and "BARGE" in big green banners, streamers in between the poles, and light up shrooms. Heck even a toad was using a gramophone to play modern Earth music "2 parties in 1 night, whoo-hoo!" Exclaimed Wally. We were walking towards the cart when Sasha stopped us "Hey pumpkin, Anna-Banana, you're with me" She pointed to a spider drawn chariot in dark green paint and brass fittings "Awesome!" I thought "Wow, cool. Hey mind if our care takers come along?" Anne asked "Of course I don't mind. The more the merrier!" Sasha said as the Plantars and the Scuttlebutts all piled into the chariot "heh. They're fun" Anne said
