"You've all got your costumes, right?" Aizawa stood as slouched as always with his hands in his pocket. His voice was like a dead drone among the noise of the train station. "Obviously, wearing them in public is prohibited, and don't lose them either." Sora looked off into the crowds, not quite sure how the following days would lay out. She had no way of attending any of Shigaraki's meetings and she was totally unreachable to them unless they texted or called. However, she was getting to do nothing but real hero work. Surely he wasn't exactly thrilled about it.

Sora had never been to Fukuoka, so this internship would be a fresh start to her hero experience. On the other hand, she couldn't believe that Katsuki was off to Tokyo to be with Best Jeanist, of all people. She knew damn well that the Pro was an amazing hero, but he most definitely was not Bakugou's type and vice versa.

"Oi." The girl spun so fast that her silvery hair whipped her right in the eye. She winced for a moment and smiled meekly at the blonde. "Don't get yourself into any useless trouble, got it? I won't be there to clean up your mess!" Although his tone was insulting, Sora knew better. So, she gave him a bright grin.

"Shouldn't I be saying that to you?" A vein throbbed on his forehead. "I'm just kidding. I'll be careful, okay? Don't be too difficult for Best Jeanist, alright?"

"Shut the hell up." She giggled. "If you don't text me I'll just assume you're dead."

Sora gave him one final nod before turning to find her train. While her few days away from the League of Villains were a god-send, she wished that she could just spend them with Katsuki. Instead, however, she would be spending her internship across the country from him. Not exactly preferable but it was important to both of their futures. Plus, she could survive a few days without seeing him.

Sora took a comfortable seat on her train, drowning the world out with her headphones. Well, until someone sat next to her. She quickly side-eyed them but had to do a double-take at the familiar face.

"T-Tokoyami?! What are you doing here? You know this train is headed all the way to Fukuoka, right?" He simply nodded.

"Yeah, I know." Her brows furrowed. Where exactly was this boy headed?

"Where are you interning?"

"I got an internship invitation from Hawks. You?" Sora practically choked on her saliva from the shock.

"Me too..." She looked down to the folded hands in her lap. "I had no idea anyone else would be interning there." She shot him a quick smile. "What a happy accident!"

"Welcome to Fukuoka!" Hawks was a bit more extravagant than Sora was expecting but he was also very laid back. It seemed like this kind of location had a decently low crime rate and that he was the main hero of the prefecture. This fact made Sora's chest swell with pride at being chosen by such a well-respected hero. "We'll mostly be focusing on patrolling the area while you're here, but don't expect anything big to happen. This town's pretty calm."

Sora swung her suitcase as she walked, falling into step behind the other two. It seemed, for the most part, Hawks intended to focus solely on Tokoyami as he had yet to fully acknowledge her. Then why was she here?! "Your hotel is directly across from the agency and the front desk is expecting you. Settle in for the evening and we'll get right to work in the morning. Be suited up and in my office, 8 AM sharp." With that, he flew off, leaving them on the curbside entrance to the hotel.

Sora noted his peculiar attitude but brushed it off. She was way too tired to worry about anything like that right now. And she wanted (needed) to let Katsuki know she made it there as he requested (demanded). She accessed her room without any acknowledgments to those around her and quickly dialed his number to rant out her concerns even though she knew he didn't care.

"What do you want?"

"Hello to you, too," she barked and almost considered hanging up. She stopped and took a deep breath. Sora had spent the entirety of her arrival overthinking that she hadn't realized that her frustrations were all pent up. "Sorry. I'm not exactly in the mood for an attitude right now."

"As if I care. Now, what the hell do you―" Sora hit the red button and threw her phone behind her. She heard it clamber to the floor but focused her mind on her own stress.

"So much for ranting..." The girl flopped face-first into her bed, gently tugging at her hair. Surely she was just reading into Hawks' behavior wrong, right? He wouldn't ask her to come here and then ignore her. Or did he bring her here for something else...?

Sora's thoughts were interrupted by her buzzing phone on the floor. She groaned at the sound, using her quirk to quickly grab it and return to her spot on her bed. She glared at the phone for a moment and scowled before answering the call with a tsk.

"If you're gonna be an ass then we can just talk tomorrow."

"Chill the hell out," he grumbled. "I was joking. You were perfectly fine at the station this morning, so what happened?" Sora sighed.

"N-Nothing happened, per se―Hawks is just not what I was expecting, I guess." Katsuki snickered on the other end.

"What? Did the playboy pro hero not turn out to be as dreamy as you thought he would?" The girl rolled her eyes at the obnoxious blonde.

"I'm being serious here, Katsuki. And no, that's not what I meant at all! Tokoyami is interning here too, but so far it seems like he's the only person Hawks cares about. He hasn't acknowledged me once and I can't figure out why."

"I think you're just being a dumbass and overthinking things." The blonde was currently lounging on his hotel bed in nothing but his black sweats. Unlike Sora, Katsuki had already been present in his agency and was now winding down for the night. His eyes narrowed at the minute sound of a whimper coming through her end of the line. "Listen to me. You haven't even been properly introduced. Don't get ahead of yourself when the work hasn't even started yet."

Sora was silent on the other end which he understood as her wanting him to entertain her idea. "And if there somehow is a reason he's neglecting you, prove him wrong. You're strong. And if some lowlife with wings can't see it then someone else will." The silver-haired girl sighed. This is what she was looking for. It's the exact reason she wanted to get him involved. She knew that whatever soft spot he had for her would always come out when she needed reassurance.

"You're right." She relaxed her tense shoulders and smiled into the phone. "Thank you, Katsuki."

"Whatever," he murmured. "Can I go to bed now?" Sora giggled softly and found herself yawning immediately after.

"Of course. Goodnight."

"Night." Bakugou hung up the phone and flopped backward on his luxury mattress provided by the fancy hotel that Best Jeanist booked for the interns. He couldn't deny that Sora's concern for the pro hero Hawks bothered him. The guy had always seemed sleazy to him during interviews and press conferences... But there was no way he could agree with her and make her more paranoid. Plus, she was strong. She could handle herself.

On the other side of the country, Sora rolled out of her school uniform and flopped into the bed, nesting her body deep into the thick duvet. She hadn't slept on the streets in quite a while since she was easily able to break into hotel rooms with her quirk, but this bed was divine. She felt like she was on a cloud. With one final yawn, she nestled her head into the fluffy, white pillow and dozed off for the night. Tomorrow was a big day, after all.
