Sora sat anxiously in her desk as the events of the day were about to unfold. The clock was ticking, just minutes until Aizawa would enter the room with an announcement after the lunch bell. Today was the day that class 1-A would be taking a trip to the U.S.J. to practice rescue maneuvers. Of course, Sora only knew that because of the information she got from the files she invaded the day before.
What she was nervous about was in fact that Shigaraki found it as a perfect opportunity to kill All Might. She worried that her rambunctious classmates would get mixed up in the battle, especially considering that the League of Villains had made their plan known to hundreds of villains that sought the number one hero's death.
The U.S.J. would be filled to the brim with real villains with actual killing intent whereas her small class had only had short battles with each other. They were beyond unprepared for a situation they weren't even aware of.
The girl immediately regretted feeding them the info because it was clear Shigaraki just wanted to make this a huge act of villainy to get their name out. If he had only wanted to kill All Might, he would only need the Nomu he received from the boss. But no, he was bringing an army as well.
"For the Foundational Skill of Heroics we'll study today, it was decided you'll be supervised by a three-man team comprising me, All Might, and somebody else."
"Sensei! What'll we be doing?"
"Be the hero everyone needs whether it's a flood or any other disaster. It's the trial of rescue!" The classroom filled with noise as everyone added their two cents into the matter. "Don't get ahead of yourselves. As I was saying, this time, it's entirely up to each of you whether or not you wear your hero costume. Some of your costumes probably aren't adapted to the task at hand, after all."
Everyone watched as the cases slid out of the wall like they had the day before. Seeing as hers remained intact after the battles yesterday, Sora opted to wear hers for the trip. "The training area is fairly far away so we'll get there by bus. That's all. Go get prepared." Sora shot out of her desk and grabbed her case, following all of the other girls to the change rooms.
"Wow!" The silver-haired girl spun around to meet the pink girl, Ashido Mina. "Your costume is even cooler up close!" She went to touch one of the glowing wires, barely being stopped in time by Sora's hand. The girl gave a confused tilt of her head.
"Careful. They're not like LEDs. My quirk flows through these metal wires and glows because of how hot they are. You'll get burned if you touch them."
"Your quirk must be really dangerous, whatever it is. So, that's why you don't show it off much!" Sora awkwardly agreed to her accusation, thinking of it as a ploy to avoid having to spill the beans. "Now, let's go!" Mina grabbed her hand and began dragging her out of the change rooms so they could meet up with the rest of the class; more specifically to the people she was friends with.
"Oh, Arashi, right?" The redhead boy held out his hand for her to shake. She hesitantly grabbed it but didn't move, making it a bit awkward.
"Just call me Sora, please." If she could get everyone to drop that fake last name, maybe she'd have an alright time here in school.
"Sure! I'm Kirishima. Nice to officially meet you!" Sora nodded and turned her head to the side, seeing Bakugou moving to keep his distance from Midoriya and Uraraka. She strode over to him and quickly made a comment.
"Only one blaster today? Can't handle your own quirk or are you worried you're gonna hurt someone again?" The boy scowled and narrowed his eyes at her.
"If anyone, I hope it's you."
"I thought you had me all figured out." Sora crossed her arms and side-eyed him. "My body is completely heat resistant to your explosions because of my quirk." Bakugou grinned evilly.
