Y/n's body shivered, but not due to the chilly wind, wrapping itself between the two of you. Your body grew hot as he whispered the simple words.

"Let's get you home y/n." Tomura said.

Something within yourself longed for him to continue to say your name. Whisper it, yell, sing; it didn't matter. In the heat of this moment your body and heart finally reacted in unison; grabbing his coat sleeve wrists as he was leaning down, you mashed your lips to his passionately.

He didn't react how you expected. Ripping  your hands from his jacket, then jerking his head away from your impassioned kiss. As his frame took distance, making your soul feel ripped away as well. His expression was one of anger and fear. A reaction that was printed across his face, meshing his cracked skin in a harsh canvas.

What did I do wrong? You thought sinking your head low. "I-I'm sorry, Tomura."

"WHAT are you doing?!" He exclaimed.

"I was in the moment, I -I like you so I thought I would-" you felt like a complete fool, you read everything wrong. He didn't like you, he was only a mere acquaintance. Your eyes looked down at the sidewalk in shame, you couldn't face him. Tears welled up into your vision as he said nothing for a moment. Running home and crying was sounding better every second.

"Y/n you fool!! You almost touched my hands! If I didn't have my head straight I-I could've KILLED you!!" He exclaimed, clearly terrified.

His statement took you out of your heartbreak, shooting you back into reality. In this society, there were many people with dangerous quirks, making life for them and their loved ones hard. A harsh reality fell over you like a cold wet blanket, you were in the wrong. He was scared, for you. His face held a sad shame, one that seemed etched into his features long ago. Time stood still for you then.

What are you doing with him?

Why would you let yourself fall this hard, this fast?

Questions filled your head, but no answers were given. Standing stunned on the side walk was all you could do as Tomura paced back and forth in a frenzy. He was scratching his neck and face speratically. He was practically having a meltdown, mumbling under his breath. You had no idea what to do or say; tears began to fall down your face.

Time moved so painfully slow. Standing there helpless as Tomura was having a panic attack unable to keep himself now from yelling something.

"Kurogiri!!!!" He said over and over.

His command made you shutter back in fear, was this the storm behind the gentle man you always felt with Tomura?

Suddenly as lightning striking a black fog seemingly appeared out of nowhere, swirling between you and Tomura. It grew bigger and bigger until finally a shadowy man appeared in a suit.

The person gently grabbed Tomura by the forearm and back to push him into the void the man had appeared from. Before they both fully disappeared your voices pierced through the night, as you quickly reached out for Tomura.

"Tomura! Wait-!!!"

Just as he was escorted away behind shadows, he weakly turned to you running towards him. Tomura looked so incredibly shaken and tired, his eyes looked at you, but the past was all that was reflected in his red eyes. Just before you could reach him he vanished. The shadow man and any trace he was there was gone to your dismay.

Your whole body fell onto the pavement, racked with sobs as confusion, sadness, and longing took ahold of you.

That night you walked home late into the night, not sure what to do or if you even should report it. The family was thankfully fast asleep as you finally laid your head down on your pillow, unable to close your eyes. Camellias grew and fell out of your hair all night, as you wondered if Tomura was ok and if you'd ever see him again.
