Ep 12. Familiarisation (part 1)

It was around 2 am and they woke up to Jun Woo's cries. Jaemin startled at first cuz Jun Woo's cries sounded so near and he realised they let Jun Woo sleep in the crib near their bed. Jeno picked up Jun Woo from the crib and comforted him. Jaemin got the baby water bottle and gave some water to Jun Woo. Jun Woo stopped crying and Jeno kept softly rubbing Jun Woo's back.

Jun Woo threw his both arms to Jaemin as if he was asking Jaemin to hold him.

"awwn baby....come to Papa....aigoo...aigoo" Jaemin hold Jun Woo and cooed him. It seemed like Jun Woo felt more comfy in Jaemin's hold. Jeno took a mental note that he needed to learn more about holding baby.

"You should go back to sleep, I'll put him into sleep." Jaemin told to Jeno who was sitting on the bed.

"It's ok, I'll wait too." Jeno smiled and said. With messy hair and sleepy smile, Jeno looked kinda funny in Jaemin's eyes. Jaemin was holding Jun Woo's in his arms and walking as he was humming a song. Jeno quietly looked at them and smiled even without noticing himself.

Jaemin was walking for almost like an hour and even his arms started to numb but Jun Woo didn't sleep and would cry if he stopped walking.

"Should I hold him?" Jeno asked as he kinda worried that Jaemin's arms might hurt.

Jaemin shook his head and still holding Jun Woo.

"How about letting him lay on my chest?" Jeno suggested and Jaemin thought that was a nice idea too. Even he likes Jeno's warm hug so Jun Woo might like it too.

Jeno laid down as Jaemin gently put Jun Woo in his chest. Jun Woo was laying chest to chest on Jeno. Jeno softly hugged Jun Woo as Jun Woo a bit wiggled on him. Jeno was being careful and rubbed his back in a circle motion. Jeno can feel Jun Woo become comfortable on his chest, his breathing became calmer. Jeno felt the new feeling, he doesn't even know how to describe it. May be that was how every parents feel with their babies.

Jaemin silently looked at them while sitting beside Jeno on the bed. He grabbed his phone and took a picture of them, making sure there was no shutter sound. They both looked so cute and Jaemin needed that photo in his life. Jeno looked at him and he can also feel something in his eyes too. Jeno seemed like a bit overwhelmed too and Jaemin thought it was adorable.

Jaemin mouthed "does he sleep?" And Jeno nodded softly. They both became super careful and silent just in case Jun Woo might wake up again. A bit later, Jaemin gently picked Jun Woo and put him in the crib. He learned that it wasn't safe for baby to sleep on his front for so long so he made sure Jun Woo lay on his back. Luckily, Jun Woo didn't wake up during moving him to the crib.

Both Jaemin and Jeno were fully awake as it took nearly two hours to put Jun Woo back to sleep.

"well done, Dada." Jaemin whispered and Jeno looked at him with a proud smile.

"you too, Nana" Jaemin smiled and they both closed and tried to sleep again. They both fall asleep soon but Jeno woke up around 6 am gain. He didn't sleep again and decided to get ready to go out. Jaemin was still sleeping so he didn't bother to wake him up. He checked Jun Woo and he was still sleeping well.

Jaemin wiggled on his sleep and woke up. He saw Jeno standing beside him and checking on Jun Woo.

"are we late?" Jaemin talked in sleepy voice and Jeno turned around to see him.

"no....sleep more. I'll wake you up after I took shower." Jeno leaned in and talked him in soft voice. Jeno gently patted Jaemin's forehead and Jaemin closed his eyes. Jaemin was hugging his orange plushie and he looked so cute as always in Jeno's eyes.
