Fucking fashion shows. Planning is stressing the shit out of me. Getting models, fixing the clothing, celebrity guests, and practice runs, this better be fucking will go to my plan, or else she will be back. Mistakes are not in my vocabulary anymore after what happened to my past relationship.
"Shit," I said to myself and shook my head. Focus, Hazel, you only have five weeks left.
Evie
Incoming CallI answered Evie's call, and she reminded me of the appointed checking of the building. It is not that I don't trust the ones who are handling the construction. It just happens that they still want me to check it.
"Almost forgot that. Thank you for reminding me. Architect," I said and started to get ready to go to the site.
"Go to my office before going to the site," Evie said before ending the call.
Brielle
Incoming CallI didn't bother to answer her call because I knew that Brielle would make me listen to her rants and chikas on their work as if she didn't have a fiance to listen to her. I like her telling her feelings about something that bothered her, but not this often. But still, what can I do? She's still my friend. The call ended, and after a while, she called again, so I connected my phone to the car and answered her call.
"You finally answered," Elle said. I can imagine her rolling her eyes.
"What do you need? Be quick. I am driving," I simply said to her.
"You know naman that girl na trying to flirt with Tasha's husband, right?" she said, and I rolled my eyes. What should I expect? That's Elle. I 'hmm' letting her know I'm listening to her chika.
"She kept on trying and trying, making Dr. Del Rosario uncomfortable, so I went near them and tinaboy ko siya. Ask me who I used to taboy her," she continued.
"Who?" I did what she said
"Marcellus," she said and laughed the shit out of her.
Fuck, I'm feeling embarrassed for her. I know she is on duty, and there she was laughing —not being professional.
"What the hell did you teach the kid now?" I said to her, halata sa boses ko na naiirita na. Turuan ba naman ng masamang gawain ang pamangkin, parang gago.
"Nothing, wala... ahm, bye, love you," she said and ended the call.
"To Architect Dizon, please," I said to the person in the lobby when I got there, and she instantly called someone.
"Pasabi kay Architect Dizon na nandito na si Ms. Rivera," she said to the person on the phone, might be her secretary.
"Ma'am pahintay nalang po sa may couch," she said and pointed to the couch.
I checked my phone for updates on the Celoris fashion show. The management team was bound to do an audition for models to become our models. The company sent invitations to the celebrities. The problem now is the clothing and the flow. Kiel's in the audition, so I don't have to worry. For now.
