Caroline woke up as a wolf and ran outside. She saw Jairen waiting for her. "Hello Caroline, how are you?" He asked. "I'm good. It's really nice outside", said Caroline. Jairen gazed down at Caroline's emerald green eyes. "Is something bothering you? You seem very worried", he said. "My foster mother thinks that I bullied Nicole when she was the one that was bullying us", Caroline said. Jairen's amber eyes looked serious. "Listen to me, you did nothing wrong. I did nothing wrong to her. She was the one that was bugging us", said Jairen sternly. Jairen calmed down. "But do not worry, I got your back", said Jairen. He pressed his fur against hers. Caroline smiled. "You make me happy, Jairen", Caroline said. "No you make me happy", he said. Jairen and Caroline saw the sun rise up and said their goodbyes. Caroline walked to her house and went back to bed. She woke up later and saw Raphael up before her. "How was your visit with Jairen?" He asked facing away from her. "It was good", answered Caroline. Raphael sighed.
"I got to go, Jairen is waiting for me", said Caroline. Raphael waved. Raphael went to school by himself and saw Heather. "Hey Raphael. I can't say anything else but your sister is being betrayed. You have to warn her. He is not who he is", said Heather. "Wait what?" Raphael asked. Heather disappeared. Raphael didn't understand what Heather meant. Jairen did act a bit strange. He walked to Caroline and Jairen hanging out in the hallways. "Caroline, can I talk to you privately?" Asked Raphael. "Hey she'll talk to you when she wants to", said Jairen. Caroline looked at Raphael. "He's my brother", Caroline whispered to Jairen. "If he's your brother, he can say what he has to say right now in front of me", said Jairen. "He wants to talk to me privately, Jairen. I'll let you know when we're done talking", said Caroline. Jairen growled and walked away.
"What is it, Raphael?" Asked Caroline. "Never mind, I'm sorry", said Raphael. He walked away, he couldn't break his sister's heart but he also couldn't let anyone else break her heart. He woke up outside with two wolf pups. "Come on number eight, it's your first night out into the wild. Come on!" An older wolf pup cheered happily. "Eight! Watch out, a huge thing is coming towards you!" The older wolf pup yelled. The older wolf pup leaped and pushed the young wolf pup out of the way. "Come on six! Wake up!" Cried the younger wolf pup. The younger wolf pup was looking at the older wolf pup's limp and motionless body and sobbed. Raphael was disturbed and confused as to how he appeared there. He woke up back in school laying on the hallway. "That was strange", he said to himself.
