"Where were you?!" Asked Caroline. "I was planning your surprise", said Jairen. Caroline scoffed. "Are you sure the surprise didn't have anything to do with my ancestors?" Asked Caroline. Jairen giggled quietly. "Of course not", he hesitated a little bit. "Tell the truth!" Caroline yelled. Raphael screamed. "Okay! He was using you! Heather warned me about him but I didn't want to tell you because it would break your heart!" Said Raphael. Caroline's eyes were full of tears. "You liar! Why did you do this?!" Asked Caroline. Jairen shrugged. Caroline slapped him. "Fine, I needed to partner with your ancestors to make me a wolf again but they made me human permanently. They made a vow that they would turn me back into a wolf if I bonded with you and led you to here but I wanted more than a friendship", said Jairen.
Raphael was angry so he walked to Jairen. "You did enough now go and leave her alone", said Raphael. Jairen growled. "Okay I will but you don't win easily. I will win and get my revenge eventually", said Jairen. He walked away. Caroline sobbed and Raphael hugged her. "I'm so sorry", said Raphael. "Is that why you needed to talk to me? I should've listened to you", said Caroline. Raphael smiled. "It's not your fault, you were in love. It happens", said Raphael. They walked back home and smiled at each other. "I'm so glad we have each other after all we've been through together", said Caroline. "Me too, Caroline. Me too", said Raphael.
