Yuki Pov

I woke up with a sharp pain in my stomach, I groaned as I rolled over to the side. I reached up and turned on the bedside lamp, I placed my hands on my stomach and began to slightly massage it. However it didnt make the pain lessen. Denki stirred next to be as he noticed I was awake.

"Yuki, whats wrong," he asked sleepily.

"Ive got a sharp pain in my stomach," I admitted. I looked at the clock beside me and it read 3:00 am.

"Alright, im going to take you to the hospital," he said standing up.

"No, I'm fine," I said before doubling over in pain. Denki looked at me worry filling his face. "ok ill go." I didnt want to but I wanted to be sure my baby was ok. Denki helped me out of bed and never left my side as we got to the car. He drove fast clearly breaking the speed limit and practically drifted into the ER parking lot. There must have been a villain attack or an accident because the parking lot was filled and ambulances drove in and out. Denki took my hand and led me into the building, there was a line of about 4 people waiting to be checked in.

"Its Chargebolt and Dragonheart," a child screamed. It looked like the little girls leg was broken, I gave her a little wave before clutching my stomach again.

"Why didnt you guys go to one of the hero healers," an older man asked.

"Um, they cant really help with this particular situation," Denki shrugged. We finally made it to the desk where a middle aged women sat.

"Name," she asked.

"Yuki Kaminari," I said. She tapped away on her keyboard.

"Birthday," she said.

"April 5th, 2134," I answered. She continued asking numerous question before she told us to sit down and the doctor would call us when he was ready. I began to hum a quiet melody hoping to quiet my baby down, Denki squeezed my hand while we waited. After what felt like hours we were called and taken back to a room. A nurse quietly came in to take my vitals and left just as fast.

"Its ok, im sure the doctor will be here soon," Denki comforted. Soon after he uttered those words a small man walked in.

"Alright what seems to be the problem," he said closing the heavy door with a thud.

"Im pregnant and earlier this morning I woke up with severe stomach pain," I said.

"How far along are you," he asked scribbling down on his clipboard.

"About 7 weeks," I said.

"Well its likely that your stomach is stretching to make room for the baby, however it should not be this bad so early on," the doctor said.

"What does that mean, will my baby be ok," I said worry filling my eyes.

"We'll take you back for an ultrasound to check the baby," the doctor said leaving.

"Well you'll finally get to see our baby," I said with a smile.

"Not under the best circumstances though," Denki smiled back. He stood up and wrapped his arms around me in a soft hug. A quick knock came at the door before it swung open. A nurse stood there with a wheelchair to take me back. I sat down in the chair, Denki grabbed my hand and off we went. After a short walk we came into a semi dark room with a chair and a computer.

"Alright ma'am, sit down in the chair right there," the nurse said. I did as she said and sat down. It was surprisingly very comfortable. "Im going to recline you and pull up your shirt."

"Alright," I said. The nurse pulled away my shirt revealing the small bump.

"Now this gel will be a little cold, but in a little bit we'll see the baby," the nurse said. She squeezed a bottle and a cool gel squirted out. It was definitely cold.
