Deku Pov

Although I still get hate for what I did when I was 16, it doesn't bother me as much. Every time I save a life another view changes. Shouto and I are heroes now and nothing will change that. Today I was going to make a promise to forever. I waited outside the restaurant for Shouto. To be honest I was sweating buckets, my hands felt clammy. I clutched the small box in my pocket as Shouto parked his car out front. He walked up to the front door where I waited.

"Hey, you ready," Shouto said with a small smile. I swallowed hard and nodded. He took my hand and guided me into the building.

"Do you have a reservation," a waiter asked.

"Uh, yes it should be under Midoriya," I said.

"Ah there you are, follow me please," The waiter grabbed two menus from under his stand and began to lead the way. The waiter lead us through a door off to the side. A private room just like I asked. Being heroes brings a lot of attention and I really didnt need that right now.

"Thank you," I said as I sat down.

"Can I get a bottle of wine for you gentlemen," he asked.

"Giuseppe Quintarelli please," Shouto said.

"Very well sir," the waiter said as he did a small bow and walked out of the room. The nerves were literally killing me.

"Are you ok Izuku," Shouto asked. I grabbed the box and threw myself to the ground, I flushed a deep red and asked.

"W-will you marry me," I said my voice shaking. My eyes were clenched close, I heard him laugh.

"I'm sorry love," Shouto laughed.

"W-what," I said. Tears filled my eyes as I wondered if I shouldnt have said anything.

"I'm sorry, this was my plan tonight as well," he laughed. I looked up and watched him take a similar box to mine out of his pocket. I burst out laughing as he opened the box. Both rings were pretty simple, just a normal titanium ring.

"I had it carved, Together till death do us part," I said.

"So did I but mines not that fancy," Shouto said. We switched boxes and I looked at the ring. I picked it up out of the box and looked at the engraving. It was simple "I love you forever"

"Its beautiful, may I put it on," I said. Shouto grabbed the ring and gently slid it onto my left ring finger. I did the same to him. I looked at the ring that now rested in its place and grinned.

"From the start till now, I will always love you," Shouto started.

"Even if the world crashes down, my love for you is eternal," I continued.

"Till the end of forever," we said together. We linked hands gently, Shouto bent his head down and kissed me. I will always remember this night.
