Rose Forbes has always been a wonder to her family. Carrying the witch gene from Liz's great-grandma was certainly a surprise to them all, especially as her powers were constantly out of control. They all knew she was special, but none was ever able...
"It takes a great deal of courage to see the world in all its tainted glory, and still love it"

The night spent with the girls was as magical as always. Ever since all the supernatural drama started, we haven't really had any time for ourselves, and we all missed it. It also served as a brilliant distraction for Caroline. Away from the torture, she had gone through and of betrayal from her boyfriend.
However, the sleeping positions were not so much magical. I woke up half on the bed, half-open the floor, groaning as I straightened my back, knowing I'll need a healing potion or I'll be in pain all week.
I tiptoed over to my room silently, as to not wake the rest of the girls, going into my drawers only to find out my usual supply of healing potion had run out. Of course, I took it yesterday. I stood there, looking at the bottle, internally scolding myself for forgetting about it.
With a sigh, I accepted my fate and got dressed instead. I emptied out the bag I usually carried around to replace it with some plastic bags, vials and bottles. another thing with all the supernatural drama going on is that I was constantly running out of supplies, yet I barely had the time to gather them.
Before I left the house I made sure to write Caroline a note of me going over to Damon's house, then going to look for supplies after. I wasn't going to sneak out this time so she'd definitely wake up with the sound of the car starting.
I got there just as Alaric did, looking as ragged as usually.
"Morning," I smile and he nods back, closing his car door.
"I heard what happened, are you alright? And what about Caroline?"
"I'm okay," I reply with a wide smile, Alaric always had a caring nature to him, despite being a hunter, "Care is a little shaken up, but nothing she can't survive."
"That's good to hear."
I didn't have time to respond as Damon opened the door the next second. Or more like, Damon and his new girl opened the door, kissing. I grimaced, looking at Alaric who did a whole turn around to avoid the scene in front of us.
"Oh, hey Alaric, Rose! Later!" the girl happily chirps and I send her a tight-lipped smile before pushing my way into the house, giving Damon a small glare as I do so.
"My new girlfriend, Andie Starr, Action News," Damon tells Alaric.
"It's not actually called Action News."
"I don't want to know," I start, putting down my bag and jacket, "just tell me what I need to know, I've got to get supplies."
"Whenever you say that it sounds like you're getting drugs," Alaric muses, coming into the house as Damon closes the door behind him.
