"There is a stubbornness about me that never can bear to be frightened at the will of others. My courage always rises at every attempt to intimidate me."

"Kitty! Your favourite witch is back!" I screamed in the tomb, grabbing a blanket from the suitcase I had been dragging through the forest for the past hour and messily throwing it on the floor, collapsing on it.

"Rose," Katherine muttered, speeding in front of me with a smirk, "Back so soon? Have you missed me, darling?"

"Don't. Start." I grit out with a glare, "It is way too early for this, and I had to drag everything here because if I started a car, Caroline would wake up and I would be dead."

Katherine raised her hands in mock surrender and I threw her a blanket, which she put down much more graciously than I did.

"So, last night I was bored," I started, opening up the rest of two suitcases, "and I decided that since we were now friends, I better put some effort into it."

"That's generous," Katherine replied with a puzzled look as if the idea was completely new to her.

"I brought some clothes and water because darling the dirty look is just a no-no," I continued, giving her one of Caroline's famous judging looks, "I did contemplate about bringing a bath, but decided that if I did that then I had to renovate the entire tomb and I have a feeling I'll be able to get you out way before I manage to get myself to physically do anything."

"Wait, you're getting me out?" Katherine asked, rudely cutting in my - not so much intended as it was needed - rant.

"Yes, keep up, Kitty," I snapped. Mornings were not my time of the day.

"I also got you a suitcase full of blood, which I stole from the Salvatores so if there's a bunny in there it's really not my fault," I snickered, passing her the suitcase with blood from which she immediately took a blood bag and drained it.

"You got lucky," she panted afterward, "Human, A positive."

"Oh, goody me."

"Anyways," I continued, pushing the other two suitcases over as well, "I packed some essentials for you and some books."

"Since I also know you probably don't read books," I continued, unbothered as Katherine rummaged through the stuff. "I got you back your phone!"

"You are literally an angel, Rose," Katherine whispered as I handed the phone to her."

"Never been called that before. Kinda mixed feelings. Angels are pretty horrible in some cases. But then again it depends on the religion -"

"I get it!" Katherine sighed and I threw her a glare. I got up unnaturally early for this and she's just cutting in while I talk.
