AJs pov
I woke up at my usual hour of 6am in an empty bed, last night I slept at Arizona and Callies. Today I am actually getting married to Jackson. I went through to their kitchen to make myself a coffee.
AJ. Your up early, hang on your never up early, what's wrong?
Arizona. Nothing is wrong. It's your wedding day, I'm excited.
I gave her a look as if I didn't believe her.
Arizona. Don't look at me like that.
AJ. Then tell me what's wrong?
Arizona. Okay... don't flip out but I need to go to the Airport.
AJ. Why, where are you going? Your supposed to be walking me down the aisle.
Arizona cringing. I'm going to the airport, to pick up mom.
AJ. WHAT?
Arizona. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I was talking to her the other day and told her that you were getting married today and she asked if she could come.
AJ. Really? She wants to come?
Arizona. Yes of course she does. You are her daughter, why wouldn't she. Do not say anything about the past 15 years, we both know she has wanted to find you.
AJ. What about him?
Arizona. Our dad will not be there. He still isn't ready.
AJ scoffed. Surprise surprise.
Arizona. AJ... don't.
AJ rolling her eyes. I need a coffee then I'm going to shower. You better not be late, don't forget you are picking Freddie up too.
Arizona walking out the door. I know, I know.
I had my coffee and jumped into the shower. Now I knew my mom was going to be there I started to get nervous. I finished washing my hair and got out realising I had left my towel on the bed I walked into the guest room from the ensuite, as I picked up the towel the door opened.
AJ. Callie!
Callie. Oh shh, not like I haven't seen it all before. Can I pinch your deodorant, mines ran out.
AJ. Huh? What do you mean seen it all before? Yeah it's in the bathroom.
Callie. I'm dating your twin, plus you were my patient when you were in hospital.
AJ. Very good point. Callie.. did you know my mom was coming today.
Callie. Oh.. she told you then.
AJ. Yeah.
Callie; anyway start getting ready so we can do your hair and makeup.
A few hours had passed and Arizona was styling my hair, she had dropped our mom off at the hotel where we were due to get married and picked Freddie up, dropping him off with Jackson.
Arizona. You look so beautiful.
AJ. Thanks, you don't look too bad yourself.
Callie knocking on the door. You nearly done, the car will be here soon.
Arizona. Just a minute... there perfect.
I stood looking at myself not quite believing what I saw. Zona stood beside me placing her hand on my hip.
Arizona. You ready?
AJ. Yeah, let's go.
I gave her a hug then we went out to the lounge to wait for the car.
