15 minutes is all it takes

The next day...

Charlotte's POV

I walked through the school gates to see Aston with JJ. I felt hurt but they are friends. "Hey look it's 'Billy no parents'." JJ laughed.

"Shut up." Aston said, running after me. Its nice to know he cared. "Hey, sorry about him. He doesn't know when to stop." he said, hugging me.

"It's ok. He has done it ever since we started here so I'm used to it." I said a tear leaving my eye and Aston wiped it away.

"Please don't cry." he smiled and stared into my eyes. I smiled as he smiled.

"Hey Charlie, hey Ast." Lil said, breaking the beautiful moment we were having.

"Hi Lil." I said annoyed.

"Hey. Have you done the History homework?" Ast asked.

"Yeah why?" I asked.

"I haven't." He chuckled as I laughed and so did Lil.

"You rebel." I said poking my tongue out and he smiled. "What have you got first?" I asked Lil.

"Urrrmmm, Geography." she mumbled.

Lunch...

After 3 boring lessons it was finally lunch. I met up with Lil as Ast went to find JJ. Ast spends break with us and lunch with JJ and sometimes walks home with me. "Hey bestie." Lil greeted me with a hug.

"Hi. We have Maths next with our favourite teacher." I laughed.

"Oh, yesterday was so funny. She is so annoying." Lily said, going into laughing fits.

"I know right, we all got sent out within 15 minutes of the lesson." I said, chuckling. "I can't believe it's only the second day, it's going so slow!"

"Yeah, because your hanging around with Aston Merrygold." she joked and I blushed.

"Shut up and... I know." I giggled and blushed again.

We had our lunch and the bell rang and we waited for Aston just before the classroom. "Here we go again." Ast chuckled. We waited outside and saw Miss Diver who's smile immediately stopped when she saw us 3 smiling and chatting to each other.

"Morning year 11. Please go in and I don't want any funny business from you 3 today." she said as she made us go in first. We sat in our seats, chuckling as we remembered last lesson. "Ok so if half of..." I heard Miss Diver go on as Ast nudged me.

"What?" I whispered.

"I am really sorry about JJ this morning." he said, putting his hand on top of mine and removing it when Lil looked. This was amazing and all happening so fast. I don't know if he likes me or is just being nice.

"Don't worry. Its not your fault." I smiled.

"Aston, Charlotte. Talking while the teacher is talking. I will not allow it. Out... now!" Miss Diver said, pointing to the door. I sighed as Aston and I picked up our bags and sat on the field, just behind the classroom.

"Sorry for getting us sent out." Aston smiled slightly.

"It's ok. Fractions were giving me a headache anyway. 15 minutes is all it takes for at least one of us to get sent out." I looked down at the grass. I opened my bag and got some sweets out and we started to share them.

"Not you 2 again." Mr Smith said, walking over to us.

"Don't worry sir. Lily will be here in 3, 2, 1." I started as Lil then walked out of the classroom.

"Right on queue." Ast chuckled.

"You too young lady? Oh dear. The three musketeers? More like the three trouble makers. Come on then." Mr Smith said, as we got up and walked behind him.

We got to the isolation room and went inside. "Right 15 minute detention for Charlotte Thompson, Lily Johnson and Aston Merrygold." Mr Smith said, writing down our names in his notebook.

"Yay, that's my break with you guys sorted." Ast said and he sounded a little annoyed.

"Ah well, at least we are together." I smiled.
