School Again

Charlotte's POV

Well, school again. After the 6 weeks holiday I'm going back as year 11, my last year before college. I guess it will be good to get out of this dump, the only thing that keeps me sane is my best friend, Lily. She is going to knock for me.

I got dressed and ran down the stairs "Morning Granny!" I shouted as I burst into the kitchen.

"Oh love, you gave me a fright." she exclaimed, laughing a bit.

"Oh sorry. What's for breakfast as I've go to go in a bit, Lily is going to walk with me to school."

"Well, you can take a bit of toast for the walk. You look so smart in your uniform." she said giving me a hug. I kissed her on the cheek and the doorbell rang.

"That will be her, see you later." I yelled as I shut the door and hugged my best friend. "Hey Charlie." she said as we hugged.

"Hey, how was your holiday, other than seeing me?" I said poking my tongue out.

"Yeah had a great time. it was great seeing you though." Lily beamed. I hugged her again, she could be so sweet. "So, you ready to see Aston again?"

"Oh, yes. You know how much I like him!" I said, getting excited.

After walking a while we got to school. there was a sign saying 'Welcome Back!' We walked in and first person I saw was Aston. My heart was beating so fast. "Oh my, Lily... he is there." I said gesturing to the gorgeously hot brown haired, brown eyed boy, slightly taller than me.

"Oh Charlie, you are so cute when you talk about him." Lil said, walking over to him! Wait what?!

"No, Lil come back! No!" Oh crap.

"Charlie, chill. I was only joking but your face." she chuckled.

"Shut up!" I laughed a little and the bell rang for form. Guess who's in my form... Aston. I walked in and he was sat on his phone with his feet on his desk. I sat near the front and the form tutor walked in. "Right form. We are going to have a seating plan." Mr Jeffery said.

He pointed at Aston and said "Aston, you stay there. Get off your phone. Charlotte Thompson?"

"Yeah." I turned around and smiled. He pointed to the chair next to Aston.

"Next to Aston please." I got up, took my bag and made my way to the desk at the back. I sat down and my heart skipped a beat when Aston kicked his feet off the desk and put his phone in his blazer pocket and looked at me and looked back at the board.

"So here are your timetables." Mr Jeffery continued after putting each person in their seat. He placed mine and Aston's timetable on the table.

"Hey, you have all the same lessons as me." I heard him say. I was looking at my phone under the desk. I looked up at the sheet of paper and smiled.

"Oh yeah." I smiled. "I'm Charlotte but you can call me Charlie." I was so excited, he actually spoke to me.

"I'm Aston." He smiled as he sat back in his seat. He got out his phone and laughed at something a friend sent him and then the bell went. He is even better looking up close.

"Hey, urm, do you want to walk with me to Maths?" I asked beaming like a right weirdo.

"Ur, ok." he said as we walked. We walked down the stairs and I saw Lil. She ran up to me smiling.

"Hi Lil. This is Aston, Aston this is Lily. She is my best friend." I don't think I have ever smiled so much in my life.

"Ah, hi." she said, cheekily smirking at me, I gave her a death glare. "So what have you guys got?"

"We have Maths with Miss Diver. Time to sleep." I moaned. I hate Miss Diver. She always goes on and on and on.

"She is so annoying, I think I might just sleep in this lesson too." Lil said as she started to walk next to me.

"I just go on my phone. She is so dumb, she doesn't even notice." Aston laughed. Oh his laugh is amazing.
