It was early when Jack finally rose from the warmth of his bed on the cool spring morning in Baltimore. Today was the day he'd finally be free from the bullshit of every day life and the day he'd finally be back on the road with his three best friends. He'd already packed his bags for tour weeks ago, and although his suitcase next to his bed was rammed full, he still felt that he was missing something big.
Outside, he could hear the typical sounds of spring in the air as nature did it's work; birds singing, the cool breeze whistling softly through his open window, and of course, the irritating buzz of insects who had found their way into the room in the night. Jack sat up, ruffled his two-toned hair ad rubbed the sleep from his lazy brown eyes. He had an hour before his alarm was set to go off and debated going back to sleep, but decided that seeing as he was already awake that there would be no need for it. He scrolled through Twitter for a while before quickly sending out a tweet:
'Who's ready for tour?!' He quickly tapped on the screen. In a matter of seconds, fans started to reply. He smiled to himself as he began to reply to a few of them. After a moment or two, he noticed a tweet from Alex.
'.@JackAllTimeLow I've never seen you so awake, dude. Do you need a doctor?'
Jack quickly called Alex before standing up and walking toward the shower, knowing that it would be the start of a new chapter for him. After the recent breakup between him and his girlfriend, Jasey, he had been distraught. He didn't want to dwell in the past, and so had been drinking away his problems for the last couple of weeks. He didn't want to just be the drunk guy on tour though. It was time to break free from the hell he had been going through every day and force life to get better.
He wasn't going to let it escape him.

Rhianne was almost home. She could taste the sweet taste of success already and she loved it. As she ran, she looked behind her to see where exactly her followers were. She quickly picked up the pace to clear a few more metres between them. She never thought that it would be such a rush, but then again, she'd never even thought about it before.
Behind her, the three men cursed in frustration, throwing insults at her. Not only had she angered them with the foul names she had called them, she had the necklace too. Her necklace; the one which had been stolen from her apartment a few weeks ago. All she had done was steal it back. This wasn't just a piece of jewellery though. It was the last thing Rhianne owned of her Mother's, who was currently in hospital back in the Uk. She couldn't afford a plane ticket, but that didn't matter anyway. Her step dad wouldn't let her in the hospital to see her.
She hadn't meant to cause a fight between her parents when she decided to stay over in the states after securing a part time job four years ago with her university back home. She couldn't help it if she thought her step dad was a sexist pig, or if it was that argument which caused her to move in the first place. The necklace was all that mattered now, and she couldn't afford to lose it again.
Rhianne kept running, the men hot on her trail as she approached the flats. With a quick left turn through a crowd of people gathered around a building on the corner, the men lost her trail and stopped persuing her. She let out a small sigh and caught her breath before rushing toward the building and up the 12 flights of stairs which she had to climb up ad down every day to get to her room. Luckily for her, she had got used to the stairs from living with her roommate, Sophia, who greeted her when she opened the door.
"Where the fuck have you been?" She asked, flicking her long blonde hair over her shoulder. Soph was a bitch. The transfer from England had caused Rhianne to wind up living with her. At first, it wasn't a problem, but they were complete opposites. The house was decorated in pretty pink wallpaper and fluffy pillows which made her want to vomit every time she looked at it.
