Rhianne
It had been about two hours when I began to make my way down to the lobby so that we could go and set up for the show. Cass had called me and asked me to meet her, and along the way, I saw Jasey too. She was sat on one of the sofas in the lobby with one hand on her stomach and the other holding her phone. She waved at me as I passed her, and I smiled and returned the gesture, but Cass gave me a horrible glance for doing so. I didn't understand why, but it seemed like they were distancing me already.
"Who was that?" She asked me. I shrugged.
"Just a girl who I met in the lift. Her room was on my floor, but she's a bit weird." I admitted quietly as we began walking to the venue. "She just told me to come to her room if I needed anything,"
"Right," She said, unconvinced. I gave her another look of confusion, but she just rolled her eyes. "You know, we all thought you'd be great for Jack. Maybe we were wrong."
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"How long have you been plotting with Jasey?" She screamed at me. I froze outside the bus when I saw Alex and Lisa just down the road.
"Jasey?" He questioned. He looked from Cass to me and I felt a weight fall onto my shoulders, even though I had done nothing wrong. "What about her?"
"Rhianne knows her. She's probably set her up to hurt him again-"
"How would I know her? I've never seen her before in my life." I told them honestly. "I met her in the lift, she introduced herself, then walked off to my room. I swear I have no idea what you're talking about."
"'Lex?" Lisa spoke timidly. His eyes turned to her and she smiled sadly. "I think she's telling the truth."
"Are you?" He asked me again. I nodded. "Good. I'm sorry about that. The girl's bad news, that's all."
The tension between us all lasted for the rest of the night, and I hadn't seen Jack or Rian since earlier that day. I stuck to my job instead of talking to the others. In fact, once I had checked the guitars, I just walked away from the stage and went into the dressing rooms backstage to have some time to myself. I felt horrible, but I didn't understand why. Cass had shouted at me for what I thought was no reason, but it had made me realise that maybe Jack and Jasey knew each other. I decided to keep away from both of them until we left for the next venue in a couple of days.
An hour quickly passed of me sat straightening my hair and putting on my make-up for the show, and then I had to get changed. I slipped into a pair of black tights and pulled on some black denim shorts over the top before grabbing my owl tank top and changing into it. I looked at myself in the full length mirror and sighed, knowing that I wasn't the person I wanted to be. I turned to the side and sucked my stomach in as much as I could and saw her; the ideal me. As I let my breath back into my lungs, she faded again, and I felt my heart sink once more.
I hadn't had these feelings for so long, and I felt ashamed of myself for having them again. I felt awful and knew that my confidence was sinking again. I'd still have to perform for the guys though, and so I tried to push the thoughts to the back of my mind and get on with the evening. The fans were filing into the arena now and I could hear them chatting away in excitement as they waited for their heroes to walk out onto the stage.
I didn't plan on making them wait out our performance for long.
"Yo!" Marty jumped into the room and wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "Come on, man. We've got a show to get to!"
"Dude, are you drunk?" I asked, slightly amused.
"Duh," I laughed at him and picked up my guitar before walking out of the room and following him out of the room and toward the backstage area.
