I woke up with the worst hangover I had ever experienced the following morning, and regretted it all when I saw the empty Jack Daniels bottle on the floor of my hotel room and the sheets strewn across the bed like I had tried to fight a polar bear in my sleep. Sitting up, I noticed that I had passed out in my clothes and my makeup was smudged across my face, so the first thing on the agenda for the morning was to shower and tidy myself up. I almost collapsed while I walked across the room, tripping over one of my boots and falling into the wall. I laughed to myself before making a mental not that I was in a room alone.

I stripped off my grey dress and took off my underwear, then stepped under the hot stream of water to take over my body and cleanse me of the events of the previous day. Yes, I still felt hurt that Jack had jumped straight back to Jasey when he heard about her pregnancy, but I oddly understood him. I guess I would have done the same thing in his position, but that didn't stop me from hating Jasey's guts. Nothing would fix that. I began planning the day as I washed my hair, watching as the colour washed out of it. It needed dyeing again, but Leo was on the other side of the country and I didn't trust another hairdresser to touch my hair without cutting it all off. I'd just have to wait until I got back to Baltimore to have it done again, but this time, I decided that I wanted something different.

I jumped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around myself under my arms, securing it and walking over to the mirror to brush my teeth. I could tell by breath smelt awful, and I began to remember just how much I had been drinking the night before. The bottle on the floor was the least of it, and I looked around the room to see nothing but empty bottles and cans of beer (although I was sure that Mary, Charlie and Joey had been drinking with me too) before I sighed at the past me for making so much mess to clear up. Reluctantly, I kicked the rubbish into a bin liner while still in my towel and slumped down on the bed. Today, we had to get moving again, and so I'd be stuck on the bus with the two people I least wanted to see. Luckily, it would only be until we reached the first stop that I had to do so. Just as I was about to stand up, I heard my phone ring, and picked it up to hear Leo's happy voice call my name down the phone.

"Hey, Leo." I grumbled. He sighed and I heard some commotion from down the phone.

"You sound like death. Rian called me last night and told me what had happened." He said, I groaned and stood up.

"You heard it all then?" I asked. He laughed.

"Kind of. Little birdie tells me you want to reverse over that bitch with the RV,"

"Who wouldn't? You'd understand if you met her," I began looking through the drawers in the hotel room for something to wear and slowly got dressed into a pair of leggings and a Bullet For My Valentine shirt while still on the phone to Leo.

"I'm sure I will. Right, I've got to go, I'm meeting a friend so I'll speak to you later," We said our goodbyes and I hung up the phone, pulling on a pair of socks and my red converse. Not five minutes later, I heard a knock at my door.

"One second! I'm not decent!" I called, lying. Once I'd brushed my hair through, I opened the door, only to find Leo stood on the other side. I froze, then threw my arms around his shoulders and hugged him.

"Surprise?" He joked, returning the embrace. "I thought you needed a pick-me-up." He pulled away and I noticed he was holding a bag with several different hair colours in it and a huge tub of Nutella.

"You ass! You could have let me know so I could get ready!" I called, pulling him into the room and hugging him once more. I noticed, as the door wasn't shut, that Jack and Jasey were walking past, and received a sad look from Jack as he saw me with Leo. Jasey just smirked, hand on her bloated stomach. I slammed the door on them.
