Chapter 3 - Falling In Love With You

My prom date with Reece was amazing. It made me feel special, and made me feel like I was the only girl in the world. It sounds cheesy, but it was the best night of my life. Even his family problems didn't put me off.

I just want to spend all my time with him.

I go over to the jacket in my wardrobe, that I wore last night to find my headphones, when I find a note. ---

"Madison, umm I like you a lottle, it's like a little, except and lot... So um Text me .... 07056 27305."

Oh wow. Its funny how one note can make your day...

Reece

I felt like me and Madison really connected last night, and that we have a chance of being a couple.

I hope she gets my note, because I really want to see her again.

*buzz*

Oh, Madison has replied to my text... On just the thought of her makes me smile....

"Hey Reece... I would like to meet up with you again, if that is what you want... Text me x"

"Hey, how about Ruby's Café at 3pm today?xx"

"Sure Reece... Cant wait!"

Okay, so its now 1:10, and i'm meeting Reece at 3...

Oh god. I barely have any time to get ready.....

I rush over too my desk, and pull out my hairbrush and start brushing the tangles out of my hair. Yet, to my disappointment.... My hair goes frizzy. Oh... Now i have to straighten it......

Its now 2pm and i'm finally happy with my hair.... So I do my makeup next, applying blusher, mascara, powder and my favourite pale Blue eyeshadow. Its 2:14 so I have 40 minutes until i leave...

I move to my chest of drawers to look for jeans, however i am let down... I realise i threw all my jeans in the wash last night.... All i have are shorts... Yet i cant stand my legs.

I go to my wardrobe, hoping for some inspiration... Wishing that I could have nicer clothes.... I suddenly perk up when I see my Little Grey crop top... And decide that it will match perfectly with my shorts... Oh i'll just wear skin tights. Looks like I'm ready, yet i realise i am sweating.

I spray about half a can of deodrant on me, hoping it will cover up my flaws.

Phew, 2:45..at least i wont be late.

I run out to my car, and start to slowly drive to the cafe.. I want to be there on time but I don't want to seem too eager..

I pull up outside Ruby's at 2:55 and decide to go in, if I'm there first i can pick my favourite seat... By the window. But, i look through the window and see a boy already sat at my table, and as he turns around i realise who he is...

Oh no. Its Alex, my stupid ex.

I try to enter the café without making too much noise.. however the door does that thing where a bell rings everytime someone comes in, and as i enter he turns around and sees me.

His face lights up, and i plaster a fake smile to my face.. and wonder why Reece doesnt look at me the way Alex does.

Basically the story is, i dated Alex when i was 16, so 2 years ago now.. and we went out for a year, but in the end i decided i didnt like him the Same way... And he was devestated.

I know it was a difficult time.. but he took it way too far...
