Chapter 2 - What Friday brings

Reece

Its finally Friday, and i cant wait to meet Maddie. I'm just trying not to be to stiff. I've organised something for her, and she has no idea what I have planned. But I'll drop a little hint - shes never had a prom before. If this plan works, it could be the perfect moment to ask her out. Well, no time to wait, its now time to leave..

Madison

What do i wear to something like this? I need to look classy, yet casual- but pretty yet natural. And why do i feel like this is a date..? I just need to calm down, and breathe. Well, i think a dress with do. The sun is shining brightly, which indicates that i will have a good day. I now feel confident to leave the house.

As i step outside, i see Reece there waiting for me, and when he sees me a smile lights up on his face. It's just little Things like that, that make my day. I then let go of my own cheeky smile, just wowed at his perfection. Maybe he likes me.. or why would he looks so happy to see me? Oh god stop over analysing his smile and just talk -

Reece

As Madison steps outside, she dazzles me with her beauty. She is in this beautiful yellow gown, and just looks naturaly beautiful. As she sees me she releases a big smile, and my world feels perfect in this one moment. As she is walking towards me, the Wind whips her hair causing her curls to roll over her face, just adding to her perfection. She may not be perfect - but shes perfect to me.

She is getting closer and closer to me, and i feel tongue-tied and awkward.

"Hey, Reece" she says casually, whilst i'm here hyperventalating about her beauty.

"Hey Maddie, so... Lets g-go then" i manage to stutter out.

"Are you okay?" Says Madison, now sounding slightly worried.

"Don't worry about me, i'm doing fine.. Lets go. I've got a real good surprise for you today." I say, without giving to much away.

We step inside my car, and i'm hoping that i havent messed everything up before its really begun.

Madison

I have no idea where Reece is taking me... I dont need somewhere special, i just want somewhere where i can be alone with him.

We are pulling up outside the old basketball stadium, and i feel quite confused, Reece knows that i dont like sport... So why would be bring me here?

The car stops and he gets out. He then comes round and opens my door, which basically makes my day. We then slowly walk to the door, and our hands touch once, which makes me blush, but he carries on like nothing happened.

He opens the door for me, and then lets me go in first, however the room is dark.

"If only I could find the light..." Says Reece, as he reaches fumbles to find the switch. But its what comes next that wowes me the most.

As the room slowly lights up, I see balloons and ribbons that fill the aisle, as well as a glitter ball dazzling in the middle. Oh, he wouldn't do this for me.. would he..? Is this m-my prom?

Reece

Madison looks so shocked, I hope I've done this right... I just wanted to make things perfect.. like her.

"R-Reece.. this.. its beautiful!" She gasps. Phew, at least I managed to do something right. As she looks at me, I take off my jumper to reveal a suit, and Maddie giggles. She doesn't need to change, she already looks beautiful.

As we begin to walk down the aisle, she looks around, in awe, at what I have done.

"I-I don't know what to say Reece- no one as ever done anything like this for me"
