After the routined bell, queued at 3:10, pierces my ears (as per usual) I walked toward my locker and dial my combination. I collect my Humanities, Home Economics and Sketch books and then walk through the cliché narrow hallway, jam-packed with with a flock of teenagers. Squeezing passed everyone, my eyes automatically dilate toward a large poster.
The poster was made from rose card, evenly laid with a glittered border. The font was written in cursive and the title read: Masquerade Ball. A few girls and boys were walking behind me, pinning up more posters on the cork board opposite me.Masquerade Ball (Valentines)
