Xander's POV:

The dinner was fun. After we were done, I walked Genie to her room and went to mine. Austin was already in the room so I said hi and went to the bathroom to freshen up. When I came out, Austin asked me
"Dude these your earphones? "

 
I looked at them and realized they were Genie's.

 
"No man they're Genie's, I'll just change and go give it to her. " He just nodded and went back to looking at his phone.

I quickly put on a plain black t-shirt and grey joggers, picked up the earphones and went to her room.

I knocked twice and waited and within a few seconds she opened the door. Her brown hair was back into a bun, she was wearing an oversized t shirt and.... shorts. My eyes were looking at her legs. I quickly looked up so I was not staring but her pink cheeks told me I already was.
I cleared my throat and gave her a small smile " Hey Genie. You dropped your earphones in the dining hall, Austin picked it up thinking they were mine. Um..here you go. " I handed them to her and she gave me a warm smile "Thanks Max. Tell Austin I said thanks to him too."

"Sure. Um, whatcha doing?"

"Oh, I was thinking of going to bed cause I'm feeling a bit tired. Today was super fun but exhausting too. Thanks for today though. "
She said and gave me wide smile. I smiled back and shook my head,
"Pleasure's all mine. Anyways, you should get some rest, I'll see you tomorrow. Good night, love, sleep well. "

"Wait.... love? " She asked me with furrowed brows and an amused look on her face.
I cringed " Yeah,  sorry bout that, my dad's British so I kinda picked up few phrases growing up."

"Ohh, it's ok. You don't need to apologize, I was just curious. Good night Maximus see you tomorrow. " She smiled and went back into her room.

I turned around and headed to my room her still stuck in my head. When I entered the room, lights were already off and Austin was in bed scrolling on his phone. I took off my shirt, said night to Austin and tried to sleep, but I couldn't. I have no idea why but I forcefully shut my eyes which reminded me of this morning. When I woke up after class. I never meant to sleep in class but I was up all night yesterday worrying about today. Now, I'm kinda glad that I did 'cause it's the reason I met Gina. Her face flashed before my eyes. The way she smiles and laughs. And before I knew it, I fell asleep.

Me and Austin woke up to my alarm. He got up and went into the bathroom. I was still on my bed thinking what happened last night. 

Did I fall asleep last night thinking about Gina? Oh boy! What's wrong with me?

I ran my hands through my hair and let out a huge sigh. I snapped out of my thoughts when my phone dinged. I took it from my night stand and saw it was a text from my sister. She told me she's coming tomorrow. Honestly, I can't wait, I really need to talk to her. I texted her ok when Austin came out of the bathroom

" Dude you wanna hit the gym with me today?" He asked.

I nodded 'cause I really needed it today. " Yeah, let me just put on a shirt and brush my teeth."

"Cool."

After a few minutes, we left the room and as we walked past Genie's room I couldn't help but remember how she looked last night, In the baggy t-shirt and shorts. 

Shut up! I told myself shaking my head forgetting that Austin was next to me. He looked at me with a confused face

" You ok bro? You've been acting weird since last night."
