Chapter 1

Janet's POV
Two minutes before I head to the stage and I'm so nervous. Even though I performed all over the world, I still get goosebumps before every performance
"What's wrong?" Tina asked

"Nothing"

"Janet, if you're nervous you have nothing to worry about you'll do fine. I promise" Tina said

"Yeah Janet, don't worry about nothing. We about to killed this performance" Tish said

"Alright I hear y'all" I chuckled

Before I knew it, it was almost time to perform

"C'mon y'all, lets pray real quick" Shawnette said

After the prayer, we went into game mode. The lights dim low and the announcer presented us saying " performing her two hit singles "That's the Way Love Goes"and "If" from her #1 album in the country, give it up for JANET JACKSON."

Heavily breathing "Thank you"

"JANET JACKSON everybody" the announcer said

After the performance, me and the kids just chilled backstage talking to other celebrities in the hangout lounge having a great time. The one thing about going to award shows besides being able to perform and be nominated for an award is catching up with your musical or entertainment peers in the industry. Suddenly I felt someone touch my shoulder and it was the infamous Tupac Shakur
"Long time no see, Ms. Jackson. I haven't seen you in a while." Tupac said

Tupac's POV
"Bruh, you wildin"

"Aye man, I'm just saying" Rob said

" Yeah, but like I was saying. I was tryi... Is that Janet?"

"As in Janet Jackson" Rob said

"Yeah man, who else"

"Where she at?" Rob said

"Over there by the bar with her dancers."

"You gone go over there and say something or what. It been a minute since y'all seen or spoken to each other since the movie wrapped up." Rob said

"Yeah I know"

"Ok then what you waiting on, go over there." Rob said as he pushed me over there into that direction

It has been a while since I've seen or spoken to Janet, so I don't know what to say. We exchange numbers after Poetic Justice was finished and I called her the next day and her phone line was disconnected. It had me feeling some kind of way because I thought we genuinely developed a friendship, but maybe because she's this big superstar, she probably just lost my number. Hopefully we can reconnect that spark we had, because I was feeling her and she was most definitely feeling me, even though she has a boyfriend. I hope to have some answers tonight

As I tried to walk through a crowd of people, some punk had bump into me and told me to watch where I was going.

"Nigga, who you talking too. I'll beat the brakes off of you."

"Do it then. Hit me" He said

"Man, I ain't got time for punks like you."

Besides that verbal altercation, I finally made my way to Janet. I said a silent prayer and lightly touch her shoulder and as she turn around, I grinned saying

"Long time no see, Ms. Jackson. I haven't seen you in a while."

She blushed, "Pac oh my gosh, I know, it has been a while. How you been?" Janet said reaching out to give me a hug.
