Chapter 7

Tupac's POV
"Under arrest!" I shouted "I didn't do any wrong, officer."

"He was just protecting me." Janet cried. "This is crazy."

"Sir, I understand you all have frustrations, but I have to arrest you. Please, just cooperate with me Mr. Shakur." The officer kindly asked

"Ughh, this some bullshit." I said. "Just gone 'head and put the cuff on me." I huffed, putting my hands behind my back.

"Tupac, I'm so sorry" She murmured. "This is all my fault."

"Sir, can I talk to her real quick." I asked the officer, with the cuffs on me
behind my back.

"Yeah, just make it short." He said

"Thank you." I told the officer, as I turned to face Jay. "Square, don't cry."

"But it's my fault." She cried

"Listen to me!" I demanded "Don't do this to yourself, Never ever blame yourself for another man's bullshit." I told her. "You hear me."

"Yeah.." She said shyly

"Don't worry about me Jay. I'll be alright." I told her.

"Ughh... I know. It's just stupid that he did this." She told me

"I know."

"We gotta go Shakur." The officer stated sternly

"I gotta go." I whispered to her, as I walked out the house to leave

"Wait!" Jay shouted, as ran out the house.

She ran up and hugged me so tight and it killed me because I couldn't hug her back. I smiled as she caressed my face.

"Bye Pac." She whispered

"Bye Jay."

I arrived at the LAPD Headquarters and walked right into the interrogation room. Shit, I was ready for any questions the officer was going to ask me.

*walking into the interrogation room*
"Charges have been filed against you for the assault and battery of Rene Elizondo." The officer said, as he sat me down in the chair "Mr. Elizondo has already told his side of the story, so please explain yours." He stated as he took the cuffs off of me.

"It all started when I went to Janet's house, I had called her 45 minutes before I went over there to talk about something important with her." I explained

"And what happen after you arrived at the house." He questioned

"I heard yelling and screaming coming from inside the house and I immediately went bursting through the house to see what was going on and where the noise was coming from."

"Continue on, Sir." The officer stated

"I went upstairs and found Rene and Janet arguing, Rene putting his hands on her and balling up his fist threatening to hit her. I told him to get his hands off of her, we exchange words with each other and I just blacked out on him."

"Then what happened after the fight." He asked

"Umm... Janet got me off of him and I let him go. He had said some foul shit to me and Janet, then he went downstairs to leave, we exchanged more words with each other and here we are right now, officer."

"Is that everything Mr. Shakur." He inquired

"Yeah, that's the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I'm just trying to prove my innocence." I replied

"And you did just that, only thing is, is that Mr. Elizondo wants to go to court with this." He remarked

"What the fuck!" I hissed
