Tupac's POV
"Long time no see, Ms. Jackson. I haven't seen you in a while."She blushed. "Pac, oh my gosh. I know it, it been a while. How you been?" Janet said reaching out to give me a hug
As I pulled her in for a hug. I gently, but tightly put my hands around her waist and gave her a tight embrace. I couldn't help but to smell her sweet perfume that was roaming all through her brown carmel skin. It was like reminiscing on the first time we met
"You look and smell amazing Janet"
"Thank you Pac, I can always look for you to give me a compliment." She said smiling
"With your smile and that body, wouldn't"
"Pac, stop" she said as she lightly push me back
"What? It's the truth"
"If you say so" she said
After I said that to her, we enter into a moment of awkward silence, but I didn't mind because I was just admiring her aura. After I realized the silence was still going on. I spoke up to ask her something.
"Can I ask you a question"
"Yeah sure" Janet responded
"What ever happen to your number that you gave me when Poetic Justice wrapped up" I asked her
She hesitated on the question, but she eventually answered it.
"After the movie wrapped up, I was going back and forth to the studio to finish up the album and somehow I lost my pager going back and forth from Minnesota to LA. Believe me Pac, I was devastated knowing I lost my pager." She spoke look sincere
I truly believe every word she said. It all seem like it came from the heart. So I truly appreciated that from her.
"Janet, hey we gotta be leaving so we won't be late going to the airport." One of her dancers remarked
"Ok Shawnette, give me five minutes" Janet said
"So... Ms. Jackson"
"Yes Mr. Shakur" She chuckled
"Can I get your number, so we can keep in touch" I said playfully begging and pleading.
She laughed " Yes, Tupac you can have my number"
"Yes" I shouted jumping up and down
After I stopped jumping up and down, we exchanged numbers to each other pagers and promised to keep in touch. As Janet got done putting her number in my pager, she look up at me and said
"You are a trip, Pac. Do you know that" She said smiling at me
"Yeah I know"
"But I honestly missed that. I missed your goofy personality" She said
"I missed your beautiful spirit" I said looking into her
She blushed. Then we, yet again, went into an awkward silence, but it was broken by Shawnette telling her that they really needed to leave
"Alright I'm coming, just give me one more minute." She said pleading
"Ok Janet, one more minute." Shawnette said
"Thank you Shawnette" She said
"Hey Janet, I'm gon' let you go. I don't wanna be the reason y'all late for y'all flight."
"Yeah I should get going. It was really good to see you. I hope we can meet up again, so we can catch up old times." She said
"I hope so too. Can I call you tonight?"
"Sure, I don't see why not" she said
"I don't won't to come in between you and the mexican, even though I can care less about him."
"Don't worry about him, besides its my life not his" She said
"Cool, alright then. Well I'll talk to you later." I said reaching her in for a right hug that felt like forever
"Bye Pac" She said breaking the hug
"Bye Janet"
As she walked away, she turned around, stopped and confessed
"Hope you win that award tonight." She said smiling
"I hope so too"
"Bye Pac" She said
"Bye"
