Bakugou and Toga are shopping for food, when a giant pink bunny catches her attention. She loves to collect plushies of all kinds such as cats, dogs, frogs, unicorns etc. But not of all she loves to collect bunnies. She grabs the bunny and takes it over to the grocery cart, and Bakugou looks at her with agitation.
Bakugou: Babe no. Put it back.
She frowns.
Toga: But honey bunny, I want iiiit.
Bakugou: You heard me. You already have a crap ton of those things at home. We don't need to be livin in plushies.
Toga: pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease.
She looks at him sadly, and begs with her eyes. He blushes and looks away.
Bakugou: No! That's not gonna work on me this time. Put it back.
She sighs and nods her head.
Toga: Okay...I'm sorry.
She goes and puts it back, then grabs onto his arm, walking with him through the store.
Bakugou: *Sigh* don't apologize babe. I know you like em, but we gotta be mindful of our money unfortunately.
Toga: mhm
She kisses his cheek and smiles.
Toga: It's okay, I understand my love.
Bakugou: That and since I'm gonna be away for a bit, I need to save money for traveling and stuff.
She frowns at the reminder of him having to leave her.
Toga: How long was it again.
Bakugou: A month, give or take. They might slap on more time if they feel like it.
Toga: That's evil. They do know that we are together right?
Bakugou: I don't think they really care babe.
She pouts.
Toga: Well I can make them care.
Bakugou: Haha, sure you can... Don't actually do that though babe.😐
Toga: What do you wanna have for dinner hun.
Bakugou: hmm? What about that crab you made last time. I liked that.
Toga: hehe alright handsome. Oh and you should probably make the mashed potatoes and steak like you did too. That was really good. 😊
Bakugou: Sounds cool.
Toga: Also what exactly is the point of you going to this place.
Bakugou: Mainly to get stronger. And better at how I choose to use my abilities. I mean I need to if I'm gonna become number one.
She nods her head holds her tears back.
Toga: Mhm
He looks over at her, then makes sure nobody is around. He grabs her hand, kissing it.
Bakugou: I know. Me too. I just, feel like I have to do this okay? I'll be sure to keep contact with you too.
Toga: I-I know. I want you to do it too, especially if you feel like it'll help. I just wish it was less than a month. Like...maybe an hour...or less.
Bakugou: Heh, unfortunately it takes more than an hour or less to get better at bein a hero babe.
Toga: Which is really dumb in my opinion.
They go to check out all of their food and leave to store to spend what little time they have left together, till Bakugou has to go.
