Bakugou starts to slowly wake up from sleep. He squints his eyes and looks around. He's in a bright white room and looks down to see that he's wearing hospital clothes. He softly places his hand against his stomach and feels a stinging pain and winces.
All Might: You took her ankle bracelet off, didn't you?
Bakugou looks over to his left and sees All Might.
Bakugou: What?
All might: Don't you remember the bracelet she had attached to her ankle the day she was put under your care. I assume you removed it.
Bakugou looks down.
Bakugou: Oh...Yeah...I did a while ago.
All might sighs.
All might: It would have been easier for us to find her if you hadn't. And neither of you would have been injured.
Bakugou: I realized...
All might: Please do not do something that reckless ever again young Bakugou.
After having a bit of time to think he slowly remembers everything that happened. His mind specifically pinpoints the memory of her slowly having her throat cut in front of him. He remembers feeling weak, as well as feeling an unbearable pain that slowly started to numb with the rest of his body. All Might starts to walk away but before he leaves the room bakugo quickly asks him a question.
Bakugou: Which room is Toga in
All might: She's next door to the right. You should get some rest though. After everything the two of you been through I don't recommend you move around much.
All might leaves the room and as soon as he does bakugo tries to step out of bed. He weakly walks over to the clothes that are laying on a small chair in the hospital room. He grabs and puts on a black hoodie with some jeans. Once he opens his door, he then goes to the right. He finds toga is sleep in bed with bandages wrapped around her throat with a Venturi mask on her face to help her breath. He closes the door behind him and pulls the chair over to her bed griping her hand gently. As she slowly starts to wake up, her eyes barely open.
Bakugou: Did I wake you baby.
She nods her head and tries to speak. He places his hand on her cheek and speaks softly to her.
Bakugou: shhh, don't talk. I'm sorry for waking you.
She tiredly makes a writing motion with her hand.
Bakugou: You need a pen and paper?
She nods her head. He gets up quickly and finds the materials needed and hands them to her, sitting back down next to her. She starts to write slowly and tiredly then shows him the paper and It reads "How is your tummy?" He chuckles sadly.
Bakugou: Why the hell you worryin about me crazy girl?
She start to write again and shows him the paper. "Cause I love you. And I want you to be okay." Her face stays stagnant and tired, as she starts to cry. Bakugou kisses her hand and his voice shakes, but he tries to stay strong for Toga.
Bakugou: I'm sorry I couldn't protect you Himiko. I'll get stronger for you. I won't let them touch you again.
She writes again " No, don't be sorry baby. You've always been strong for me."
He smiles sadly and stands up kissing her forehead.
Bakugou: Get some sleep babe. We can talk more when your better rested.
She nods and drifts into sleep.
A couple hour's later
Bakugou sits on the edge of the roof top of the hospital, looking down at the city. The only thing on his mind is everything that happened in that abandoned warehouse. It replays in his mind over and over. Out of nowhere a hand grabs on Bakugous shoulder and he jumps in Surprise. It's kirishima. He sits next to him, with a case of beer in hand and places it on the side of the ledge. He pulls one out and hands it to Bakugou.
Kirishima: I thought you might need this.
He takes the beer from Kirishimas hand and pops the cap off, then he takes a few sips and continues looking down at the city.
Kirishima: I also thought you might need a friend to talk to. Beer can only do so much.
Bakugou: I don't know... What to say.
Kirishima looks at him seriously.
Kirishima: What happened...
Bakugou takes another swig of his beer, finishing it off. He grabs another beer from the case and starts to drink more, as to numb the pain from the thought of everything.
Bakugou: I went to go and save her after I saw the note. And when I got there I saw her. They had her chained to the roof like an animal. It looked like they had beaten her pretty bad. She had scrapes and shit all over her too. Anyways I saw them in the corner of the warehouse. And...I Saw that fucking asshole Shigaraki... smiling.
Kirishima could tell that it was difficult for him to continue on the story. Bakugou finished another beer and grabbed a third.
Kirishima: You don't have to keep going. I'm sorry I asked bud.
He shakes his head and response and drink some more.
Bakugou: Stop being a pussy and listen. You came to listen, so do that...Just give me more beer.
He drinks a couple more until he's on his seventh. His words begin to slur.
Bakugou: Anyway. I saw em. Those bastards didn't know what hit em. Messed up about two of em I think. But then one of em grabbed my head and smashed it agains the floor. And I got stabbed a few times. It All happened pretty fast. And I remember that freak with the hand on his face.
He grits his teeth and starts to tear up.
Bakugou: He grabbed my baby. He touched her like he owned her and he tried to kill her right in front of me! He put a knife to her throat I saw all the blood just, start to leave her body. Saw her slowly starting to turn blue. I saw her become lifeless. AND NOTHIN WILL MAKE ME FORGIVE THAT FUCKIN BASTARD! HE MADE ME FEEL SO USELESS! I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING FOR HER! ALL I COULD DO IS SIT BACK AND WATCH! ALL BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT HELP FROM MY FRIENDS! HOW COULD I BE SO SELFISH AND STUPID!

Bakugou starts to cry uncontrollably. He feels weak and guilty for being unable put his pride aside. Kirishima puts his hand on his back and pats him. He feels sad for his friend that had to go through so much. And wishes he could have helped him and toga.
Kirishima:... It wasn't your fault. We all know how much you love her. You only did it because you love her. I'm sure if the same thing happened to Mina I would have gone to try and save her as soon as I could.
Kirishima continues trying to comfort his friend the best he can, letting him free his emotions.
