Damon Salvatore was many things. A charmer, a seducer, a fighter, a survivor and many more. However, he was in no way a naive vampire. He'd heard the stories everyone else heard. The legend of the Original family. The first vampires, especially Klaus. To meet one of them was a different story. When he'd entered that abandoned building with Stefan, they had a flimsy plan but it worked. Damon staked the annoying, well-dressed vampire and voila! Problem solved, everyone went home happy.
If only! Turns out, Originals cannot die by regular means. What's worse, is that the Original wants Elena for some crazy ritual. Did Damon mention that the man wanted Elena as a sacrifice? Well, Elijah wanted to sacrifice Elena, or at least offer her as a sacrifice to Klaus because she just so happens to be the doppelgänger. Damon was really growing tired of people trying to kill the women he loved. First, the council tries to kill Katherine, now...now the entire species of vampires and werewolves want to kill Elena. Did Damon mention he's pissed?
Now, Damon had been invited by Carol to attend a tea party for Elijah. The Original was using the facade of a History journalist to get into the council and learn as much as possible about the town. Damon had to admit that it was a clever plan but it irritated him to no end. That's, especially after Elijah's witch's display. Jonah had shown up and killed the werewolves, helping to save blondie, Stefan and Damon. The raven really hated owing people!
The Salvatore woke up with Andie and compelled her to start falling for him. He took her to the tea party and showed up with a smirk on his face. Jenna greeted him at the door, seeing him with her friend and frowned at them disapprovingly. Jenna knew Damon's personality and didn't appreciate him, 'fooling' her friend. "So what's this?" She asked.
"I have to thank you, Jenna, for introducing us," stated Damon flirtatiously. Jenna glared at him and then stared at Andie.
"Andie, what's going on?" She asked.
"Let me tell you," replied the journalist and grabbed Jenna, away from Damon. In turn, the raven located Elijah with Carol.
"What're you gonna do?" Alaric appeared next to Damon and asked.
"I'm gonna talk to him," the raven lied and headed to the other two. Carol saw him and smiled her formal smile.
"Damon, good to see you," she greeted. "Elijah I want you to meet Damon. His family is one of the founders of Mystic Falls," the mayor introduced.
"Hi, Damon Salvatore," greeted Damon and shook the Original's hand.
"Elijah," said the older vampire and shook the hand. Carol saw the tension and excused herself from them. "Elijah, do you mind if we have a private conversation?" Asked Damon.
"Not at all. Lead the way," responded the older. The Salvatore led them to the study and closed the door. "What can I do for you Damon?"
