Shernette was going through some papers recently.

She had hired a doctor, John Watson, to live in her mansion and help her in her cases. So far, they had been solving 7, including one where Shernette was framed if it weren't for a new invention called a punch card she had been testing with a Friend to prove her innocence with the time being similar to the victim's estimated time of death. (Oh, William messed up on that one...)

However, another thing that was unexpected was for Shernette getting a job from Death.

The viscount had attempted to cheat Death, so it was up to Shernette to take care of him.

A simple quick demise sounded too good.

Shernette thought, maybe give Moriarty a little mystery to solve as well. She smiled as she laid a trap in motion.

She knew the viscount was married, but he married the girl for her dowry and then she committed suicide by drowning when she learned he was seeing other women.

Death by Guilt sounds like the best option.

The viscount also had a passion for collecting rare animals so she called up an agent she knew in the black market to send him a certain creature.
------------
"Ah! I was told that a rare fish is here. Is it tropical?" The viscount asked.

"Not exactly. She's a rare species we can't display for certain reasons." The dealer said as he led the viscount to a room.

In a large tank, there was.......

A mermaid that looked like his wife.

The viscount was entranced and decided to take her. But he had to follow certain rules.

No one can see her.

She must be kept in a large tank of saltwater.

And he can't let her go hungry at Any time.

Otherwise, the shop won't take any responsibility for the consequences.

---------------
In a matter of days......

Shernette smiled as she looked at a article.

"The upper body skeletal remains believe to be those of Lili Vanroth daughter of Duke Vanroth, were discovered in the stomach of an abnormally large fish, and as of yet, unidentified species. The fish also contained the body of her husband Viscount Strafmore. Authorities discovered that the viscount had been having numerous affairs behind Lili's back, and conclude she committed suicide upon learning the truth. Somehow, according to his neighbors, Strafmore obtained the fish through the black market to add to his collection, and somehow became mental to the point the fish was his dead wife, even naming it Lili.......Hmph." Shernette smiled.

"I wonder how you think of this, Moriarty. I bet he was your next target too." She said to herself.

But no need to rush.

If he's the cheetah pouncing upon his prey, while he burns through his cards, she'll be the patient snake that toys with him.
