He grabbed the door knob and slammed the door before either of us could say anything in our defense. I was filled with so many emotions and didn't realise how long Amy had been staring at me.

"You should head upstairs and change into some comfy clothes while I start Tokyo Ghoul and grab some popcorn."

I managed a small smile and nodded my head and began walking upstairs to throw on some pjs and cancel on my date. Amy was never the type to ask the obvious 'are you okay?' question, when obviously everything was not.

Me and my date are in the same Math class and we had previously known eachother from our high school choir. He was very sweet and soft spoken and had an amazing voice. I really didn't want to hurt him so I decided calling and explaining what had just happened would probably be best. Besides, he and Chris go way back so he knows everything that has happened, they were both on our Highschool Baseball team.

"Hello, y/n? I'm just about to leave my house I'll be there in a sec!"

"Hey Sawyer don't leave just yet, I don't think I'm gonna be able to make it to our date today."

"Is everything okay?"

I began to explain everything that had just went down. Explaining it again helped cement in my brain that all of it had just really happened. It had been over a year that I had been in contact with Chris.

"Y/n I promise promise promise that it is okay! I know that that must have been really hard. I completely understand."

He was still just being the super sweet Sawyer that I had always known, but you could hear the slight bit of disappointment in his voice.

"Okay thank you Sawyer! Please tell me that we can reschedule this for sometime next week?"

"Totally! I'll text you tomorrow so that you have time to process what just happened and I'll let you know!"

"Thank you thank you! I'll talk to you tomorrow?"

"For sure!"

I hung up the phone, I'm glad that he was being so cool about it. But, I still felt awful, I hated that I canceled on him and now almost felt like I still should've just gone out with him. But I knew that I wouldn't have be able to give him the full attention that I wanted to, this was for the best.

Me and Amy both got comfortable on our livingroom couch and began to watch our favorite anime and snacked on some popcorn. Before I knew it, I was drifting off to sleep.

I don't remember what I had been dreaming about before I heard a loud thud that woke me up. I sat up in my bed not remembering how I had gotten here. The last thing I remember was watching the episode were Kaneki first saw Touka's Kagune and it was sick!

I began to look all around my room trying to decipher where that noise came from. I looked down right next to my bed and I saw a dark figure who seems like they had just been knocked out. I was paralyzed for a second hoping that it was just Amy. I went to take a closer look when all of a sudden they sprang on me and covered my mouth so I wouldn't scream, I had no idea what was going on.
