~Carlo’s POV~
We had managed to get back to the Isle without anyone spotting us, thankfully. “I’m sorry I’m late, Dude!”

“Ben’s been captured.” Dude exclaimed.

“Wait! Why is our door open?” Jay asked.

Chad, hearing us, turned away from the printer. “I knocked. Why are you guys making the Fairy Godmother’s wand?”

“Oh, because uh..” Jay started.

Dude, thinking we had forgotten, burst out at the top of his dog lungs.” Ben’s been captured!” Not knowing who was listening on the other end of the door.

“Thanks. I was stalling,” I muttered.

“Well, I thought you forgot,” Dude responded.

“BUT, don’t tell anyone. Ben’s life depends on it.” Jay exclaimed.

That had Chad’s attention. “Really? So if something were to happen, who do you think would be in line to be King?”

“Ugh, no comment,” I muttered again, and with that, shoved him out of the dorm room.

~Evie’s POV~
“M, how amazing would this look with my shredded tee and heart purse?” Mal looked over at me and smiled.

“So amazing!” Mal answered.

“Take it! Take a bunch!” Dizzy exclaimed, throwing a pile into my purse.

“Oh, Dizzy! Thank you.” I said, hugging her again.

“It would make me so happy to know that you were wearing something of mine in Auradon. Almost like me being there myself.” Dizzy said in a shrug.

I sighed. “I really wish I could take you with me.”

“Well, at least one of us had her dream come true right?” Dizzy said, and sharing a look, she began to place her headphones back on and sweep again.

Mal tugged at my arm, breaking my daze. “Hey E,we got to go. Don’t worry. She’ll be okay.” I nodded, sighing, looking back at Dizzy before turning to face Mal.” Yeah. But she could be so much more.”

~Jay’s POV~
“Hey, guys! What about me?” Dude asked; as Carlos and I began to throw things into the limo in preparation to leave.

Carlos groaned, shaking his head at his furry friend.” No! You stay. Dude, you have to stay. Now, I’m serious. I love you, buddy, and we’ll be back before you know it.”

“Oh, hey!” Doug called, running over to us.” Have you seen Evie?”

“She’s uh..camping,” Carlos answered.

“Evie. I want to live in a castle, sleeping on the ground, with nowhere to plug in a hairdryer?” Doug began to question.

I shrugged, trying to go along with Carlo’s story. “You know how spontaneous she is, bro. Later Doug.”

No later had we turned around did we have Lonnie behind us. “I’m coming with you guys.” She exclaimed.

“What? We don’t need swords at the… waffle hut.” Carlos answered.

There was no fooling Lonnie, though I wasn’t sure why. “You’re going to the Isle to rescue Ben. Look, it’s either you take me, or I’m going to have to tell the Fairy Godmother.” Reluctantly, and by golly not seeing any other way out of it, Carlos and I gave in.

~Harry’s POV~
As the time neared closer for Millie to be here, I began to mess with King Ben in need not to go mad. “How’s it feel to be king now, eh?”

“Give it a rest, Harry. We don’t want damaged goods.” Uma said, taking a seat across from us, on a wee bucket on the deck.

“You said that I could hook him!” I muttered in frustration.

Uma nodded.” I also said at noon. Give me 20 more minutes; it’s only 11:40. You better hope your girlfriend comes through.”

“Well, she’s not exactly my girlfriend anymore.” I heard Ben sigh in a whispered tone as Uma motioned me away.

~Uma’s POV~
“I get that you don’t deserve this.” The King said as Harry walked further across the ship.

“This? This Island is a prison, thanks to your father. And don’t pretend to look out for me because no one’s looking out for me. It’s just me. “I muttered under my breath.
“So this isn’t your mom’s plan?” Ben asked.” Isn’t that her necklace?”

“My mom doesn’t care about me either. Well, not unless she needs someone for the night shift. And I don’t need your pity.”

“Of course not. You’re very resourceful. I don’t see you tied up.” Ben said.

“Okay. Let’s trash talk, Millie.” I said.

Ben began to fidget, behind the rope now.” I’d rather talk about you.”

I chuckled. “Oh. A gentleman and funny. I do hope that I don’t have to feed you to the fishes.”

“You don’t!” Ben exclaimed. “You don’t have to at all! Set me free, and we’ll go back together.”

“Wow, now I got an invite.” I snarled,” Gee, I wonder why. When you brought Millie, Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos to Auradon, that’s as mad as I’ve been in my entire life. And trust me, I’ve been plenty mad.”

It was quiet for a moment. Then Ben started again,” I never thought of that. That I could hurt the people that I didn’t pick. I planned to start with five kids and bring more people over. I guess I got kind of busy being king. That sounds so lame. I’m so sorry. You’re a leader, Uma, and so am I. Come to Auradon and be part of the solution.”

“Me? Part of your solution? Nah. I don’t need you. I can get there on my own.” That much of my mind was made up. That much I knew.

~Millie’s POV~
I waited in the old garage with Mal and Evie for the fellas to get back with the wand, and time began to tick further down. Eventually, they did arrive, and with them, Lonnie too.” Lonnie.” I exclaimed as she gave Mal and me a hug.

“I made them bring me,” Lonnie admitted.

Mal gave a heavy sigh of relief. “I’m so glad.”

“Welcome to the Isle,” Evie added.

I watched as Carlo’s eyes zoomed in behind Lonnie, as Dude slid out behind her. “And Dude. I told you to stay.”

“I flunked obedience class,” Dude said back.

“You’re so lucky that I love you.” Carlos followed.

“Okay! Are we ready? It’s noon!” Jay asked. We all nodded, and with the guys grabbing all the swords, I followed Evie and Mal to the ship. Off to the ship, we went to rescue my dumb boyfriend and hopefully the world.
