The year was 2066 it was like every other year for the past forty-four years for Milward and his wife Zola. After their adventure with James' brother Finn, they decided to leave SHIELD and the Avengers, Milward wanting to pursue his dream of being an inventor fulltime as he worked as a consultant mechanical engineer, while Zola decided to be a firefighter working on a Truck company in New York, until her Truck company responded to a structure fire in one of the many skyscrapers in the city, the fire floor was thirty stories up, and due to a unanticipated in the fire's behavior she, and her crew were almost killed, but due to her quick thinking she managed to save the lives of her crew, except herself. She suffered burns on forty percent of her body, most were second degree burns where her turnout coat covered her, but her mask and hood sustained major damage and did little to protect her face from the fire. Due to her actions at the fire, she saved her Truck crew and indirectly saved civilians who were escaping in a panic down beneath the fire floor, in total she directly and indirectly saved over thirty people through her actions, she was awarded the Medal of Valor, which hung proudly on her uniform next to the three other medals that she was awarded, the Medal of Courage, and the Medal of Gallantry, and the Distinguished Service Medal.

Now at the age of seventy-six, Zola still suffered from that day nearly thirty years ago. Her face still scarred, half of which was disfigured, using a cane to support herself due to the broken leg sustained during the fire that had not fully healed. It was hard for her to do anything, yet she somehow managed to give birth and take care of their only son Tiberius F. McCarthy. Milward now seventy-five was now but a shadow of his former self. As Zola grew more and more dependent on Milward to help her as her health began to fail, Milward quit his job and his inventing to help her, he now actively avoided anything that involved conflict and was very paranoid and protective of the love of his life, they had ben married for fifty-four years, and Milward became increasingly sadden and distraught as he sought to ease his wife of her suffering at her age. His son Tiberius was much like his father, only fifteen years old, he acted like his was five years older than he really was, he too like his father was distraught and saddened by his mother's state of health. He worked long night shifts at the gas station after school, trying to generate income for his parents, and being fiercely loyal to his family he had quite the reputation at school since kindergarten to beat anyone who badmouthed him or his family, and his rage became particularly bad when anyone talked bad about Zola. He quickly fell out of favor and was shunned by everyone at his school, and on the weekends or when ever he did not have a shift at work, he took his anger out in his sword training.

Tiberius stood at six foot five inches tall, with broad shoulders, and muscular arms and legs the size of small tress, conditioned by the many fights he had been in from kindergarten and his workout sessions with the sword. He had shoulder length unkept, brown hair, and his green eyes showed the trying times in his family. Although he was very brash and hot headed, he also was extremely focused on what ever he did, this was partly due to his sword training and his skill with the rifle and pistol, earning the NRA Winchester Distinguished expert medal in both rifle and pistol when he was fourteen, and now at the age of fifteen he held the title of Master of the sword. Like his parents he had special enhancements which he was on the verge on mastering, his insane superhuman strength, he being stronger than Thor and holding his own against an angry rampaging Hulk once. And the second was his hypersensitivity to anything and everything, and his superhuman healing rate, being able to heal from injuries in as few as two or three minutes.

Milward was proud of his son, proud that despite the circumstances he was able to make great achievements in his life, as well as his maturity, working sixty hours a week at his job making twelve dollars and seventy-five cents an hour, on top of fort hours a week at school. The other forty-eight hours were spent primarily caring for his mother, training or sleeping. Zola was proud of her son as well, she did not see him as a teenager but as a man, for his maturity and high ethical and moral values that both she and Milward taught him, what she was the most proud of though was his self-sacrificing attitude willing to give up anything to help his family, even though she and Milward insisted that he pursue his dreams, but like his father he was set in his ways and bull headed and refused every time, as he told them every time that,

"Family is more important than self-gain."
