SWORD Squad Delta 5. the Avengers and the Clone wars.

Chapter 6

Tiberius arrived on board the republic cruiser to be greeted by his clone friend Sharps, who was now an ARC Trooper. He now wore the command skirt and pauldrons of an ARC Trooper, and his armor was now not just white, but white and green.

"Greetings Sharps." Tiberius said walking off the transport.

"Its now ARC Trooper Sergeant Sharps." Sharps replied removing his helmet reveling the pride of his position on his face.

"You fit the position well it seems." Tiberius said as he and Sharps shook hands.

"It does Sir, with your demand, Commander Cody was able to get me in the training program, the skills you taught me put me at the top of the class, Thanks." Sharps said

"You're my friend and one of the best Troopers I've seen." Tiberius said then asked

"Where is Master Kenobi and Skywalker?"

"On a mission sir, to save Commander Tano's people from the Zygerrians." Sharps replied

"When?" Tiberius asked

"Three days ago, sir." Sharps said as Tiberius realized that three days ago that troubled feeling he had started.

"Something is not right we need to go." Tiberius said with urgency in his voice.

"But sir-" Sharps was cut short.

"You and I are going NOW!" Tiberius commanded

"Yes Sir!" Sharps said as he went to commandeer a Y-wing bomber.

Tiberius flew the Y-wing to Zygerria where they landed outside the city and using the vegetation as their camouflage they snuck past the city walls, Tiberius with his M1 and Sharps with his DLT-19. They paused in an ally way where Tiberius pulled down his range finder and spotted a cage dangling from what he assumed was the capital building, and in it was what appeared to be Ahsoka. suddenly he saw he figure jolt violently as he suddenly experienced a sharp pain, looking around him he saw no external stimulation, then suddenly out of instinct he shouldered his rifle and without aiming let loose two shots, both found their marks in the skull of Ahsoka's brutal captor, then he let loose a third, at what he did not know but he shot anyway, after which he took off towards the building with Sharps in toe.

Ahsoka had been hanging in the cage for a day now, her captor staring down at her, making snide remarks, till she used the force to cause him to lose his balance. After which he stood and sneering, he activated her shock collar causing eminence pain for her, that was until she heard a weird sound, looking up she saw the lifeless body of her captor missing his head fall over the rale to the streets below. She was perplexed at what had just happened, but thankful that the pain had ended, but was pulled from her thoughts when her collar fell off and there was a strange sound like a high velocity object had just ricocheted off of metal. She was surprised but thankful again that this had happened. She suddenly looked up after hearing a thud above her, as she looked her eyes met Tiberius's and then she knew what happened. Having worked alongside Tiberius before she knew that only he, with the exception of Sharps could make such shots that close to someone and not kill them. As she was thinking this, Tiberius used in strength to break open the cage from the top and help her up and out.

"You, ok?" Tiberius asked

"With the exception with that shock, I'm fine." Ahsoka said

"Shock?" Tiberius asked as Ahsoka looked at him and showed him the collar that was around her neck, seeing it caused something to click in Tiberius, the pain he felt was not external, or caused by the Force but him observing Ahsoka get shocked. He experienced what he observed being done to her, which had never happened with anyone else, only her. it all made sense now, every time he had a bad feeling with no cause, every time he experienced pain while observing Ahsoka get hurt, every time she was anxious, he felt it. He was mysteriously connected with her.

"I'm connected with her?" Tiberius questioned himself out loud, forgetting that Sharps and Ahsoka were there.

"With whom sir?" Sharps asked as Ahsoka looked at him inquisitively studying his face.

"Nothing, just trying to make sense of life's many riddles." Tiberius responded as his eyes said something totally different as he looked at Ahsoka, which caused her to look confused.

"What riddle?" Ahsoka asked prodding a little.

"Nothing, just how I am able to find you." Tiberius said as Anakin appeared.

"Oh really, your voice and your face disagree with each other with that explanation." Ahsoka said smiling getting some satisfaction in seeing the frustration of Tiberius trying to make up his mind to tell everything or not.

"We'll talk about it later." Tiberius said after a while as Anakin approached.

"Well Snips I see you have been freed." Anakin said to his Padawan, Then said to Tiberius,

"I see you found my Padawan first, as usual."

"Its complicated." Tiberius replied walking a way with Sharps.

"I sense a disturbance in the force." Ahsoka said

"Its Dooku. I need you to get our ship." Anakin said then added

"Here take this com-link." As he handed her the device.

"Where are you going?" Ahsoka asked crossing her arms.

"The queen knows where Obi-Wan is. Hold on to that commlink and wait for my signal." Anakin said as he ran off, while Ahsoka, Tiberius and Sharps went to take their ship. They waited until Anakin gave the signal, then they flew the ship to the palace where Anakin was waiting with the queen.

They flew their ship to the Kadavo system was a star system located in Wild Space, and contained the planet Kadavo, where the Zygerrian Slave Empire established a slave processing facility on the surface, which was headed by Zygerrian Keeper Agruss. They landed on the planet's surface where they were anticipated, and the large gun towers opened fire destroying their ship. Anakin began to cut a hole in the thick blast doors as Ahsoka R2D2, Tiberius and Sharps hid behind the overhang. They were interrupted by the computer at the entrance showing Obi-Wan's face, dirty and beaten from being a slave alongside the Tagruta people.

"Anakin, I'm glad to see you, but I'm afraid our host feels otherwise." Kenobi said

"Well, you cant make everyone happy Master." Anakin quipped back to his former master as he continued to cut the hole with his lightsaber.

"They are threatening to kill the slaves, unless you surrender." Kenobi replied

"Its always good to see you're ready to negotiate, but I've had enough bargaining with slave drivers." Anakin said

"Anakin, you must realize this is not a fight that you can win alone." Kenobi replied

"Who said I was alone." Anakin said as he finished cutting the hole in the door and prepared to enter. As republic fighters and gunships flew in to support the Jedi and rescue the slaves. The four of them and the Astro-mech made their way inside. Sharps and Tiberius split off to find Kenobi and Captain Rex who were in a fight for their lives. The duo were tiering, but Tiberius and Sharps showed up and made short work of all the guards with their rifles, leaving only Keeper Agruss.

"Come now master Kenobi, I know a Jedi will not kill an unarmed man." Agruss said as Rex finished dispatching the guard he was fighting and threw the guard's spear at Agruss' chest as Sharps took a shot at his head.

"I'm no Jedi." The captain and ARC Trooper said in unison.
