SWORD Squad Delta 5. the Avengers and the Clone wars.

Chapter 3

The SWORD commandos detached their craft from the spaceship as it crashed into the planet's surface sending up a huge fireball that caught the attention of the Clones and the Jedi. Kenobi and Commander Cody and a few Clones of the 212th Attack Battalion went over to investigate as the SWORD spaceship landed. The deck opened and Milward was the first out, his face now painted black and green as he shouldered his rife and sent eight shots into eight B1 battle droids. he reloaded and turned to introduce himself.

"Greetings, I am Tiberius McCarthy, Master of the Sword and Master Marksman, Lieutenant of SWORD commando squad Delta 5." Kenoi and Cody looked at each other

"Are you Republic or Separatist?" Cody asked pointing his blaster at Tiberius

"I am which everyone is killing Droids. our planet is under attack by them, and we have been sent, under orders to find and exterminate the source of the attack at all costs." Tiberius said and continued

"There used to be more of us, but they were killed before we took control of the ship." As he motioned to the eleven remaining members of Delta 5.

"Tiberius what now?' one of the men asked. Tiberius looked and scanned the battlefield.

"We need to move. Droids inbound, make to the cliff wall, follow it behind those rocks on the left and we'll go from there Tiberius said as he pointed towards the cliff wall on their right. Geonosis was a desert planet with many mountains and canyons.

"Wish we had tan." One of Tiberius's men said

"Well, green and grey are better than white." Tiberius said as he covered their retreat into the rocks. Once behind the cover of the rocks, as Tiberius looked, he saw that his men were alone, Kenobi and the 212th had lost them.

"What now sir?" Sargent Tapio asked

"Fix bayonets. We are going to charge their flank and rush the guns on that wall." Tiberius ordered.

"You're out of your mind." Tapio said

"We have the element of surprise; they won't be expecting us." Milward said as the twelve men readied their rifles with bayonets. They positioned themselves arm's length apart and waited for their leaded Tiberius to give the signal, suddenly over the clamor of battle there was the sharp sound of a World War 1 whistle. Delta 5 stood and started charging towards the unguarded flank of the unsuspecting droids. once they were right behind them, they let loose a blood curdling battle yell that surprised the droids and the Clones and their Jedi Generals. Delta 5 swept through the unprotected flak of the droids like a wildfire, mounting the ridge and looking down they saw a Jedi general, his Commander and the Clones beneath.

"Come on!" Tapio yelled as he and Tiberius led the surprise assault, as Tiberius appeared right behind him holding his Longsword

"To Victory!" he yelled swinging his sword with deadly precision, severing droids like sticks of butter. The two Jedi and the clones stood as Tiberius continued to make short work of any droids that ventured near them.

"Sir, the fire is too thick!" Tapio said as he and the rest of Delta 5 crawled back to keep from being struck down by the hail of blaster fire.

"Hold my Sword." Tiberius said as he jumped down and backed up.

"Best you people give me a runway."

"Are you mad?" Clone commander Rex asked

"Possibly." Tiberius said as he started running towards the ledge, he ran up and lept over the ridge sending him high into the air, using all his superhuman strength, he slammed his hands together making a shock wave that knocked out the droids. after which he curled up into a solid ball as he hurtled back down like a cannon ball hitting the ground with a resounding thud that shook the ground like a small earthquake and leaving a small crater in the ground. Tiberius got up slowly, readjusting his helm and picking up his sword.
