After the successful rescue of the Tagruta from the Zygerrians, Tiberius pulled Ahsoka aside and told her his mysteries connection with her, and the death of his uncle and his modified armor, even talking about his parents and their history, as she listened intently. Tiberius was surprised at himself as he continued to divulge into his life and tell Ahsoka everything about him, something he had never done before. Like her friend, Ahsoka was surprised that she was actually listing, and enjoying what her friend was telling her, as it began to click with her, that the strange feelings she had outside of the force, like the feeling of deep sadness that came over her a week ago, were linked to Tiberius. The two of them discussed it at length and came to the conclusion that they had a very special and unique relationship between each other, one that may end up offending the Jedi masters.
Tiberius shrugged it off saying, "while its good and everything, being a Jedi is overrated in my opinion." This remark caused Ahsoka to giggle and sake her head at her fried who took most of everything casually, never being formal and always saying his mind without considering his audience, the one thing she admired about him was he always told the truth and was blunt about it too. As they talked over their meal, Tiberius was interrupted by a message on his SWORD transmitter recalling him back to earth, saying that it was urgent. A sudden dread came over Tiberius as he anticipated the worst, the death of his parents. Tiberius shot up and sprinted to the hanger and hijacked a gunship and was about to leave when Sharps and Ahsoka jumped aboard, Ahsoka came sensing the dread and fear in her friend, and Sharps after being around Tiberius knew when stuff went south.
Three days later, Tiberius stood in his armor his helm in his right hand looking down at two caskets, one holding his mother the other his father. Milward's body laid in the casket in his armor, his sword on his chest, hands folded over its golden hilt in peace. Despite the efforts of the corner, Tiberius could see the dented armor and remnants of the fight. His mother also laid in the casket in her armor, her hands folded over her sword in peace.
"at least they died together, fighting side by side, like they have done together since they met that day so long ago." Tiberius said as tears flowed down his face.
"Rest well mom, and dad. I love you." Tiberius said kneeling down and leaning on the caskets broke down and began to cry, his helmet falling to the ground as he mourned the death of his parents. Ahsoka and Sharps stood on each side of him, Ahsoka putting her arm over his shoulders, eventually helping him up and letting him lean on her, as Sharps picked up his rifle and helm. Tiberius regained his composure as best he could as he stood inline behind the guard as they fired two twenty-one-gun salutes, one for Milward, the other for Zola, his face shining in the sunlight from his tears.
Later that day he hung their pictures next to the others on the wall, after which he stood back and saluted both pictures in respect, saying
"Thankyou for everything, Mom, Dad. Rest well, you earned it." He stood there a long time after, taking a trip down memory lane, till he was startled by Ahsoka's soft voice.
"Who are these people?" she asked
"These are the mightiest heroes on earth, the Avengers, saved our planet more times than I can count, my father met my mother in a Restaurant just before the first Extraterrestrial attack on earth by the Chitauri in 2012." Tiberius said
"My mother had a traumatic background, involved with war, espionage and assassinations, till she was rescued by her mother who did not know she existed. She lived with them here at Stark Tower, and just before the attack, HYDRA agents came into exact revenge, or to collect her, I can't remember, but my father had other ideas, and my uncle tried to talk him out of it which was useless, and that is how they met, then they met again on the battlefield defending earth in that attack." Tiberius continued
"Like you and I, we met on the battlefield in the second battle of Geonosis." Ahsoka said with a slight smile
"Must run in the family I guess." Tiberius said
"It seems your parents died honorably." Sharps said
"They died doing what they did best. Protecting others. That is where my father got his name Hiron Astel, the name I bare. It is a High Elf name meaning protector and bringer of peace." Tiberius said
"It suits you family legacy perfectly, from what I hear." Ahsoka said
"You have no idea." Tiberius said
