On coruscant, Delta 5 received and education on the Clone wars. The clone wars, fought to prevent thousands of planetary systems from seceding from the Galactic Republic and forming the "Confederacy of Independent Systems", often referred to as "the Separatists". Opposing the Jedi were two Siths that more or less commanded the CIS, the first and most prominent was Count Dooku, the second, a mysterious Darth Sidious who is acclaimed to be behind it. the separatists used Droids while the republic used Clone troopers from the planet Kamino, and unfortunately Earth got caught in the crossfire as the separatists were looking for ways to gain more resources, and land.
As Tiberius learned of the war, his powers expanded, and Obi-wan Kenobi took notice of Tiberius' Force sensitivity. After much debate with the strong-willed fifteen-year-old, he was able to begin training, outside of the permission of the consul. He found that Tiberius had excellent focus due to his extensive training as a swordsman and marksman, he also observed that while Tiberius' skill still needed refining, he had the skill of a Jedi knight with a lightsaber. Tiberius learning the new extent of his powers, his mind began churning with all of the possibilities and possible uses of his new force powers, which both impressed and annoyed Kenobi, and unlike Kenobi who was refined and calculated, and well mannered, Tiberius was, impulsive and brash, sometimes reckless and absentminded. Kenobi now feeling confident about Tiberius stood before the counsel and asked them to permit Tiberius his new padawan learner, while Kenobi was busy with the council, Tiberius stood outside and waited, admiring his new lightsaber.
"What do you have there?" Ahsoka asked walking up with Skywalker
"My lightsaber." Tiberius said handing it to the Tagruta.
"Interesting design." Ahsoka said admiring the extra-long hilt with an opening at each end that had a bronze-colored shroud. She traced her finger over the inlayed gold swirls that covered the hilt.
"Extravagant." She said handing it back.
"Have you fired it up yet?" Anakin asked
"Not till now." Tiberius said as he lit it, unaware of Kenobi behind him. As the blade extended from the hilt it shown yellow, then something happened, there began to be flickers of orange throughout the entire blade that now resembled an open flame, flickering yellow and orange with a dark blue, almost purple base. The three Jedi stood there in amazement. Lightsabers were only one color typically blue or green, yellow was one of the rearrest as it was only ever used by the sentinels, the rarest being purple used by Master Windu, but this was unheard of, never before was a lightsaber two or even three colors. Tiberius lit the other blade showing that his saber was a variable length double bladed lightsaber, one of the hardest to master. Tiberius extinguished it and put it down, as Kenobi went to pick it up, only to find that he couldn't
"Why can't I pick this up?" Kenobi asked to himself quite perplexed as he tried again.
"Because you're not me." Tiberius said
"What do you mean?" Anakin said straining to pick up the saber
"I used Asgardian technology from my system, when I forged my saber, and like my sword, no one except me can wield it unless I will it. this means that if I were to put this on your hand you are stuck there until I move my saber, which is nice because I don't have to worry about anybody swiping it from me." Tiberius said
"Well, you are special, for your Kyber crystal to show such colors."
Kenobi said.
"What's the verdict?" Tiberius said
"The council will accept you as my padawan." Kenobi said then added
"You will have to wear a braid as a sign as unity between you, the force and me, your master. And our garb." Kenobi sad
"No on Your Life! the braid yes, garb no. you can make certain cultural accommodations, right?" Tiberius said
"Well yes-" Kenobi said but was cut off
"Great. Then all I ask is that I ware my garb. It is tradition on my planet." Tiberius said, leaving out the fact that it was only his tradition, and he would never wear robes.
"I guess we can." Kenobi said unsure
"Ok, Great Master. Glad to be your padawan." Tiberius said as Kenobi rolled his eyes and muttered to Anakin
"I would gladly take you again as my padawan over him." Causing his former padawan to chuckle.
"Don't worry master he'll turn out fine."
