Part 17- A small break

Another day.

Mike gets back into his room, start practicing.

After hours of hitting up the ball, he takes a small break.

Matches come every week, he participates every time, whenever he gets chance.

Small matches after small matches.

And one day, he gets to know about a massive tournament.

The one who'll win will get declared as a "Best Player in the City", officially.

There were many rewards and opportunities.

Anyone, from any city, could get participation.

And this was the biggest opportunities for MIKE and everybody.

Mike filled up the form and basics formalities online.

Started working hard, locked up in a room.

Stopped wasted time and stopped seeing friends.

Ciri called him many times, he didn't pick up.

There was only him and football in the room.

Sleepless nights, started doing exercise and meditation for self relief.

All focus on the tournament.

Later he took the phone, to know more about the tournament.

They revealed the date, which was gonna happen in the month of OCTOBER.

JULY was rolling, Mike still has left 3-4 months.

He saw several missed call of Ciri.

Few minutes later, Zack was trying to call Mike.

Mike picked up in the second ring.

ZACK: Hey! What are you doing?, aren't responding to any of us calls.

MIKE: Practicing...

ZACK: Common Mike, Now you have reached at so satisfied level, no one can beat you in any matches. What you want now?

MIKE: No. This one is a bit competitive.

ZACK: How?

MIKE: the Biggest football tournament is gonna happen in our city, So I took this as the biggest opportunity.

ZACK: That's great going, Mike...

MIKE: yeah, that's why I'm staying out of
distraction.

ZACK: okay. Got you.

MIKE: Why did you call?

ZACK: was thinking about to meet MIVI and CIRI. It has been a month. So, I thought to take you out.

MIKE: oh!

ZACK: But as you're busy now, uh-tournament, so it's fine. No worry.

MIKE: right.

ZACK: But still if you change your mind then lemme know.

MIKE: I'm busy though, and also it's been a long time, didn't see you all guys. Okay, let's meet.

ZACK: cool. Wait outside, I'm walking to your house.

MIKE: ok.

MIVI: Mike getting leveled up now.

ZACK: from small matches to big tournament. Huh?
