THE WHEELS OF LIFE SET ME TO PLAY,
I STRAIN MY EYES TO FIND A WAY.
WHILE YOU ENJOY WITH YOUR PLAY MATE,
I STAND HERE CURSING MY FATE,
LONGING TO JOIN IN YOUR FUN,
AWAITING HOPEFUL RAYS FROM THE SUN.
SOMEDAY YOU MIGHT GLOW WITH FAME,
AND ALL PEOPLE MIGHT KNOW YOUR NAME.
BUT, I MAY STAND HERE OLD AND WORN,
WITH DREAMS SHATTERED AND HEART TORN.
SIGHING, I MOVE ON TO SELL,
CALLING PEOPLE, RINGING MY BELL.
THE SOUND ECHOS TEARS OF SORROW,
WHICH LONG FOR A BETTER TOMORROW!
