All through my life, I sailed along,
A lonely ride; a tuneless song.
Trying to get past the roaring sea;
A kite caught high upon a tree.
Striving and struggling each day,
I tried my best to find the way.
A spring evening, dull and lonely,
The breeze carried a little melody.
Tugging at my heartstrings,
It pulled me to you.
You held me close,
And I leaned unto you.
Thus began the story of us:
A tale of love, passion and trust.
You hold my hand and hum in my ears,
My guard is down, so are my fears.
You light up my days, bright and blue,
Slowly, now I'm falling for you.
You are my joy, my heart and soul.
You are the piece that makes me whole.
I hold unto you, don't let me down.
The waters are deep, don't let me drown.
Sailing across, I sing our song,
Holding my hand, you sing along
Thus goes on, the story of us:
A tale of love, passion and trust!
