Stay still, my love,
For the dangers lurk near.
Poised with weapons pointed above,
These monsters instill fear.
Their eyes hold hatred
For those unlike their kind.
They speak of terrors they've bred,
Amongst innocent minds.
They torture the poor and weak
And derive pleasure from it.
The peace and joy we seek,
Are far across the limit.
They stand here armed, tonight,
Stay still now, dear friend,
For I hope, there is a little light
At this tunnel's end!
