Walking away seems easy,
Walking away seems right.
But the memories that we shared,
Now blur my sight.
Every look, smile and laugh,
That made my heart melt,
Is now just a void in my heart,
With no trace of what I felt.
The times you consoled me,
And erased my raging fears,
When remembered now, leave nothing
But a new pool of tears.
My heart sobs now,
Broken and battered
Its wishes and dreams crushed
And on the floor, shattered.
Because walking away seems easy,
And walking away feels right.
But how's it possible for the moon,
To walk away from her night?
