I hope you know the rain comes in ways
some days it's cloudy,
while others are a chance of pour
maybe you're not happy,
but it's okay
some days are splendid,
while others cry
but know that I'm here to wipe your eyes
those stains will disappear
I hope you know, dear
the coat may soak the floor,
but it's not enough to leak under the door
I don't have to see what you don't want me to,
but, honey, know that I trust you
different times I've said, "I'm through."
but then again, they led me back to you
God won't leave our sides
He's the one who painted your eyes
He knows the colors from brown to blue
He made them just for you
the toys in your closet and on the floor
can't count to what's in store
know that the rain comes in ways
