“N, to the A, to the N, to the D, to the O, to the S, what does that spell? Nando’s!” Niall chanted as we sat One Direction’s SUV. I must admit it was pretty awesome, we were all a bit squished but it was worth it to be hanging out with one of my favourite bands.
“We get that it spells ‘Nando’s’! You’ve only told us a gazillion times.” Zayn shouted before Niall could carry on with his chant, even though he was exaggerating by rather a lot I was glad to have some silence when Niall pouted and crossed his arms but nevertheless he shut up.
“Now it’s too quiet though…”Louis pointed out, for Niall this seemed like an invitation to chant again as he started up his Nando’s song but was quickly cut off by Louis, “Not that you can sing again. I was more thinking someone could put some music on? There’s and iPod dock in the radio station area.”
Dinah immediately turned to me so I fished my iPhone out of my bag and gave it to her, she passed it to Louis and he plugged it in.
“Shuffle?” He questioned and the boys chorused a ‘yes’. “Guess what guys! Everyday I’m shuffling! Get it… because I’m shuffling the music!”
No one laughed so he just shut up and pressed play. With the press of a button music began blasting around us.
“I love this song!” Harry shouted excitedly, jumping up and down in his seat like a child given caffeine.
“I’m at a payphone trying to call home…” Harry sang loudly but still in perfect pitch to Payphone by Maroon 5. I smiled at his perfect voice and it made me love the song even more.
“This song makes me happy.” Louis letting long happy sigh out. I laughed and joined in with Harry’s singing. I not going to be one of those people who say there awful at singing when there not but I’m not saying I’m amazing either, I’m just the average. We all sat singing; we weren’t far from Nando’s now according to Niall.
“Are you sure? These look like a lot of back lanes…” I questioned Niall.
“Yeah, we have to take them in case of fans.” Liam told me and I nodded in understanding. Well not really ‘in understanding’ because I’d never had to deal with it but I could imagine being in their shoes.
“Yeah, I wouldn’t question if Niall knows his way to Nando’s, even if we were lost he could probably sniff us the way there.” Harry said from the driver’s seat, momentarily stopping singing to say something.
“I’m at a payphone!” Louis sang to finish up the song and there was an awkward silence as we anticipated the next song.
“Oh dear…” I said a blush formed on my cheeks as I noticed the introduction of the song.
“Fans of ours are you? You failed to mention that in our little question answer session…” Louis said winking at me and I held my burning face in my hands trying to cover my tomato cheeks.
“It feels like we’ve been living in fast forward, another moment passing by.” Liam sang to start off ‘Up All Night’.
“I’m up all night!” All the boys sung together.
“Okay next song!” I said swiftly, my cheeks still as bright as sunlight.
“NO!” The boys screamed and I jumped in my seat from shock.
“Were singing, now shut up and listen!” Zayn said joking assertiveness.
“Yes dad.” I said sarcastically.
I was quiet for the rest of the song, just listening to the boys sing there parts and by the last line we were turning into Nando’s.
“Are Danielle and I allowed to speak yet?” Dinah whispered to Zayn, he laughed and nodded.
