Dil's Loud Love

Finally back with the next chapter! Had a small bit of writers block but I think I'm over it now. Anyway happy reading!

Looking over to Lily who now was being taken to use the bathroom by Rita, then back to Dil, Savannah decided something was going on.

"Why are you acting so weird?" Savannah asked

"What do you means? Im not acting weird." Dil responded

"Yes you are, ever since we started playing with Lily you've been acting really weirds."

"Nuh uh!"

"Yeah huh! You've been really quiet and staring at Lily a lots. You even droppeded your popsicle."

"Oh...Well I mean I do kind of feels weird. It's like there's butterflies in my tummy and they're doing like a kajillion summersaults when Im with Lily." Dil admitted

After a moment Rita, holding Lily's hand, returned to the beach side as Rita let Lily go back over to Dil and Savannah

"Welcome backs Lily!" Dil greeted the returning toddler

"Thanks, so what would you guys like to dos now that we finished making the sand castles?" Lily asked with a giggle.

"Hmm we could go and plays in the water?" Savannah suggested

"Yeah lets go plays in the water!" Dil agreed with Savannah before looking to Lily. "Well that's is if you wants to Lily, we can always do something else." Dil said

"I'm fine with playing in the water, lets go tell the grown ups so we can get water wingies." Lily said

Nodding, Dil and Savannah followed behind Lily as the made their way over to Rita and Didi who were still chatting away.

"How long are you planning on staying?" Didi asked

"We'll most likely be staying until the middle of the upcoming week. We do have school shopping and preparations that still need to be finished." Rita answered

"Well how about we meet up at the local park here tomorrow? The kids love playing there and I'm sure Lily would enjoy it. Plus it could be like a little playdate." Didi suggested

"Oh that sounds nice, especially with my other kids all having their own things they are planning to do. It'd be nice to have a little down time relaxing in the park." Rita said, "I'm sure Lynn could handle get them all where they need to go."

"If your family wants, they can meet up in the park later on. My friends' and I's kids' usual babysitter, Taffy, is performing in a small concert in the park tomorrow afternoon." Didi added

"Oh that sounds wonderful, I don't think they would mind stopping by, especially Luna."

Just then Lily, Dil, and Savannah toddled up to them as Lily spoke up.

"Lily swim! Lily friens swim!" Lily cooed out to her mother

"Ah, I think they would like to go play in the water." Rita said

"Oh let me get your water wings then." Didi said going to grab Savannah and Dil's water wings, helping them put them on while Rita put on Lily's in the meantime.

Once they were ready they led the trio over to the water, staying nearby to watch as they all began splashing and playing in the water.

"Ooh lookit you guys a seashell!" Lily giggled picking up a seashell from the floor of the shallow ocean they were in

"Oooh~" Both Dil and Savannah said in awe

"I member my sister Lisa telling me that if you can find one without the hermie crabs in them you can listen to them and hear what the ocean sounds like." Lily explained

"Wow! Do you guys wanna look for seashells then?" Dil asked

"Sure!" Lily grinned

"Yeah! I can finds one for my new baby sister for when mommy and daddy brings her home." Savannah nodded in agreement

"And I'm going to find the bestest seashell to give to Lily." Dil thought to himself as the trio began searching for more seashells on the ocean floor

After a little while of searching, each of them found different seashells as they met up to show off each of their shells. Lily then brought her shell up to her ear listening to the sound of the waves of the ocean.

"Wow! Lisa was right, it really does sounds like the ocean!" Lily beamed

Following Lily's steps, Savannah and Dil also brought their shells up to their ears to listen, both grinning in delight as they too heard the sounds of the oceans.

"Neat! I can't wait to let my new baby sister hears the ocean when she gets here!" Savannah giggled in delight

"Here Lily, you can has my seashell, it's the biggerest one out of all of ours." Dil said, holding out his seashell to the blonde baby

"Really? Are you sure?" Lily questioned, tilting her head slightly

"Uh huh! It's like a present acause well I really likes you, you're fun to play with." Dil giggled

"I likes you too. Here since you gave me yours, you can has mine!" Lily also giggled handing over the seashell to Dil.

The two toddlers giggled amongst themselves as Savannah stopped listening to her seashell as she noticed both Dil and Lily together. She was happy that she and Dil made a new friend they could play with but for some reason she also felt upset that Dil was suddenly only wanting to pay attention to Lily and only Lily. He didn't even show her the seashell that he got! She was friends with Dil first! Savannah continued glaring down at her own seashell until Lily got her attention.

"Hey Savannah, we're going to plays with the beach ball since my sisters are done with it! Do you wanna play with us?" Lily called out to Savannah, snapping her out of her thoughts.

"Oh uh, yeah, sure. I just wanna puts away my seashell so I don't lose its." Savannah said

"Okay! Dilly and I are going to plays over there." Lily said, taking Dil's hand as they went over near where Lynn Jr. had left the beach ball.

Picking up the ball, Lily giggled happily as she bounced the ball over to Dil. Dil caught the ball, stumbling backwards and falling before he too giggled and got back up to bounce the ball back.

Meanwhile, Savannah took her seashell over to her bag, placing it in one of the pockets before toddling over to where Dil and Lily were playing.

At the same time the Rugrats parents had begun collecting each of the kids, seeing as about an hour and a half had passed and close to lunch time, to take them to the beachside restaurant to get them all something to eat.

"Come on you two, we're going to get some lunch. You'll get to play with your little friend when you get back." Didi said picking up Savannah and Dil

Dil frowned, looking down at Lily from his mother's arms. He wasn't done playing yet, he didn't want to stop playing yet! Reaching out for Lily, Dil whimpered and whined hoping Didi would put him Dil.

"No, no, Dilly, it's time for lunch. Lily will be here after we eat." Didi said, carrying Savannah and Dil over to the others

Dil's lower lip trembled as tears welled up in his eyes. He wanted to cry, but not in front of Lily. Holding back his tears, Dil just sniffled as Didi carried him away.
