Dil's Loud Love

Heyo everyone! Back again with the next chapter right before Thanksgiving holiday hope you all enjoy!

As Dil fell asleep he began to have a nice dream, it was all of his friends playing on the beach together just like they had been doing throughout the current day.

"Come on Dil we're gonna play with the beach ball!" Dream Savannah called out to Dil

Without any hesitation Dil ran over to play as he caught the ball before bouncing it over to Tommy. Giggling happily, dream Tommy tossed the ball to Chuckie as they all continued bouncing the ball around their group. Dil then felt a tap on his back as he turned to look to see no one other than Lily Loud.

"Hey can I play with you guys toos?" Lily asked with a grin

"Yeah! Of course you can Lily!" Dil agreed, allowing Lily to slip into the group circle next to him

They all continued to play with the ball, bouncing back and forth between each other in the group. That's when it happened, the nice dream Dil was having quickly turned into a nightmare. First it was Phil claiming a tummy ache that was getting worse by the minute. He then threw up what was like a field's worth of butterflies before passing out in the sand.

Following soon after was Lil, then Chuckie and Kimi, then Tommy until it was only Dil, Lily, and Savannah left as Savannah frantically shook Dil by his shoulders.

"I tolds you to play with mes instead why didn't you Dil?" Savannah cried out

"I didn't knows this was gonna happen!" Dil replied, tears welling up in his eyes as he felt his own tummy begin to ache really bad.

Turning to look for the blonde, Lily cackled evilly as she went around tapping other kids and adults as they all began throwing up butterflies and falling to the ground. Not being able to bear the pain anymore, Dil felt his stomach churn as he began throwing up butterflies himself as a large shadowy version of Angelica's head appeared.

"I told ya drooly, if you listened to mes when I said the Loud kid was causing all this now everyone is sick! It's all your fault!" Angelica screamed before cackling evilly

"No, Lily is a good baby! She can't be making anyone sick." Dil cried

Dil woke up with a jolt as he began crying loudly as he heard Didi's voice console him

"Oh it's okay sweetie, we'll be home soon. It will just be a little bit longer." Didi said, shushing Dil to get him to calm down

Sniffling, Dil eventually calmed as he finally realized where he was looking at his surrondings. He was in the car again, strapped into his carseat.

"Are you okays Dil? You were having a nightscare." Savannah asked

"Yeah, it was a really bad nightscare where Lily was actually making everyones sick and throwing up bubberflies." Dil explained

"It'll be okays Dilly, none of that happened or is gonna happen. Angelica's just trying to scare yous." Tommy reassured his brother, glancing over at Angelica who was fast asleep in her car seat next to Susie

"What did Angelica tells you guys this time?" Susie questioned, a disappointed look crossing her face knowing Angelica likely told another one of her lies

"She tolds Dilly that if he kept playing with Lily the bubberflies he was feeling in his tummy were gonna esplode!" Tommy explained the situation to Susie

Susie just shook her head in response, "That doesn't happen, that's just another one of Angelica's made up stories. I heard my older sister Alyssa say once that when someone gets the feeling of butterflies in their tummy it just means they're in love with them."

"Love? What's that?" Savannah asked

"Uhm well I think it's like when you like someone a whole lots, like more than a friend or a bestest friend. I think Alyssa said something about how you always want to be with them and do the lovey dovey stuffs like holding hands and telling them you loves them and stuffs." Susie explained to the best of her ability.

"Just like on Valimtimes Day?" Tommy asked recalling how Susie and Angelica explain to him, Chuckie, Phil and Lil about what Valentines Day was about

"Uh huh kind of likes that!" Susie nodded

"So I just like Lily a whole lots and im not sick?" Dil asked

"Yup sounds like it!" Susie giggled

Dil giggled happily knowing he was going to be alright before he stopped and frowned. He slept the rest of their time at the beach which means he didn't get to see or play with Lily and he didn't think they were going back to the beach again.

"But I don't think were going to go backs to the beach, I didn't get to plays with Lily agains or tells her I likes her or even say goodbyebye." Dil slumped sadly in his car seat

"It's okay Dil! I hearded Lily's mommy say she's bringing her to the park tomorrows to play!" Savannah reassured her friend

"Really?!" Dil perked up upon hearing the news

"Uh huh!" Savannah nodded

"I can shows you the stuffs we did on Valimtimes Day when we goes to the park tomorrows Dilly and then you can dos that stuffs with Lily." Tommy chimed in

"Thanks you guys! You guys are the bestest!" Dil giggled happily knowing that he'd have another chance to not only play with Lily but to tell her that he liked her!

The rest of the ride home, Dil was in a good mood. Upon arriving home, Dil waved goodbye to Savannah as her father had come to pick her up for the night. After a quick unloading of the car, Didi had made dinner for them all to eat before bathing the kids and putting them to bed. Dil just sighed happily laying in his crib, looking up at his mobile that was hanging above his crib. He couldn't wait until tomorrow!

Meanwhile over with the Loud family, the family had just returned to their rooms from having dinner from the hotel restaurant for the evening as they all started to get ready for bed. Lily in the meantime was coloring again with her crayons as she found herself drawing herself and Dil playing together and a separate picture of herself, Tommy, Dil, and Savannah playing together. Sure she had fun playing together with everyone but it felt special to play with Dil.

At the same time Luna was storing her guitar in its case as she slid the case under the bed to keep out of the way. That's when she noticed Lily's drawings nearby as she decided to take a peek.

"What are you drawing lil sis?" Luna asked

Lily sat up, holding up her drawing specifically of her and Dil as she pointed to herself and then Dil.

"Lily and Dilly!" Lily grinned with a giggle

"You seem to really like that little dude huh?" Luna chuckled, ruffling Lily's hair before grabbing her things to get ready for bed

Lily looked back down at her drawing as her head swarmed with thoughts of the time when they mistook their mom's letter to their dad for love letters for her and her siblings. That's when it finally clicked in her head that she wanted to do the same for Dil. Grinning to herself, Lily began drawing a different picture with her and Dil to give when they met up in the park tomorrow. After a little while she looked at her finished work and sighed happily before toddling away to get help with putting her pajamas on for bed.
