Dil's Loud Love

What's this? Two chapters in one day! Haha I had a little more time today than I thought so I got a chance to squeeze in one more chapter! Hope you all enjoy this one as well!

The next morning, Dil woke up in an excited mode seeing as he was going to have a chance to play with Lily again. Standing up in his crib he looked over to his brother who was still sleeping. He thought about waking him so he could get his help with the whole learning about Valentines Day stuff before they went to the park instead but he decided against it not wanting to upset his brother. Plopping down, Dil crawled over to the edge of his crib to get the extra screwdriver out from beneath the teddy bear as he was about to unlatch the hook. However, Didi then walked into the room as she pushed the door open. In response, Dil quickly hid the screwdriver back underneath the bear before sitting back down as Didi came into the room and over to his crib.

"Aww good morning sweetie, did you have a good night's sleep?" Didi cooed, picking up Dil from his crib and over to the changing table to change him

At the same time, Tommy let out a yawn as he began to stir from his sleep. Getting up, Tommy began wandering out of the room to use the potty. By the time Didi finished up changing Dil, Tommy had finished his potty trip as he made his way to the stairs to climb down. He was ready to watch Reptar like he did every morning. Not far behind Tommy getting to the bottom of the stairs did Didi come with Dil as she placed him on the floor in the living room next to Tommy.

"Good morning to you too sweetie." Didi chuckled as she kissed Tommy's forehead. "Now you two wait here while I get breakfast ready."

Before heading off to the kitchen, Didi went ahead and clicked the television on for them to watch as she then went off to make breakfast. Not long Stu was heard coming downstairs as he went into the kitchen.

"Morning Deed, the boys in the living room?" Stu asked, kissing Didi on the cheek before heading to get the newspaper from out front

Walkng through the living room Stu pat Tommy and Dil each on the head as he opened the front door to grab the newspaper. Upon opening the door, Stu was surprised to see Alan once again at his doorstep in position to knock looking quite frantic.

"Oh uh Stu, sorry to disturb you this early in the morning but I was wondering if you could watch Savannah again for a while. Ebony has gone into labor and I need to get her to the hospital asap. I asked the Carmichaels but Lucy is already at the hospital on call and Randy is going to be out for the day once the kids all get to school." Alan frantically explained

"Sure sure! It's not a problem, we don't mind having her over anytime Alan. Go take care of your wife." Stu accepted taking Savannah, who was still half asleep but also worried about what was happening after being woken up so suddenly.

"Thanks, I owe you and Didi both one." Alan thanked Stu before rushing back across the street to get Ebony to the hospital.

"Alright lets get you settled in, I'm sure Tommy and Dil would enjoy some company for breakfast." Stu said, picking up the newspaper and carrying it along with Savannah inside

Going to the kitchen first, Stu caught Didi up on the situation explaining to her how Ebony had gone into labor and Alan was on the way to get her to the hospital.

"Aw, isn't that exciting? Your new baby sister is gonna be here very soon." Didi smiled.

"I bet she is. Going to go ahead and pop her into the living room with Tommy and Dil." Stu said, carrying Savannah off to the living room as he placed her on the couch next to Dil. "There you go, now you kiddos hang out for a little bit. Breakfast will be ready soon."

Stu then went back to the kitchen as Dil and Tommy looked to each other before looking over to a worried looking Savannah.

"Uh, hi Savannah, whatcha doing heres?" Dil asked

"I don't knows. My mommy was screaming really louds and stuffs and she sounded really upset. I think it has to dos with my baby sister." Savannah explained

"Oh! Something like that happened afore when my mommy and daddy gots Dilly. She started sounding really upset and stuffs and that's when we went to the hopsicle to take my mommy theres. After waiting for a longs time, and after looking in the hopsicle baby store, I finally gots to see Dilly for the firstest time." Tommy explained about when Dil was first born

"Wow! So my mommy is getting my baby sister right nows?" Savannah asked, instantly cheering up

"Uh huh! I'm sure you'll get to sees her soon." Tommy nodded with a grin

Stu then came back to pick up each kid to bring to the table for breakfast as they each enjoyed eating the oatmeal that Didi had made for them.

On the Loud family side of things, the family was scrambling to get up to get to the restaurant down on the first floor.

"Hurry up kids, if you want breakfast you'll have to get downstairs now!" Lynn Sr. called out through the door that was connecting the two rooms.

Commotion could be heard in the second room as the Loud siblings scrambled to get out of the room and downstairs for food. Rita and Lynn Sr.'s side of course was much more peaceful as they only had Lily in their room as Lily had toddled out of the bathroom after her morning potty break before going to grab her crayons again. Luckily she didn't have to rush down to get food like the rest of her siblings as Rita was already down there to grab a small breakfast burrito for Lily. Plopping down on the floor, Lily put the final touches on her drawing of her and Dil as she colored in the picture. Picking up the picture, she admired her work hoping that Dil would like it.

Sometime after breakfast was done and everyone was dressed, the family headed out to get everyone to their activities they had planned.

"Now kids, we're meeting in the park in the evening for the concert so make sure you're back in the car with your father by at least 5:00." Rita instructed as all the loud siblings nodded and agreed in understanding

"Good now lets get you kids out there for some fun!" Lynn Sr. cheered

Piling into the rental van, Lynn Sr. then drove off to the mall in the downtown area of Yucaipa as the Loud siblings looked on in excitement. Especially because besides the mall there was also the museum, the octoplex movie theatre, and the bowling alley nearby that had them all excited.

"Now I'm going to drop your mother and Lily off at the park but I'll be back in a bit. Lori make sure you try and keep an eye on them all." Lynn Sr. explained as the siblings all scrambled out of the car.

"Got it dad don't worry!" Lori called out

Pulling out of the parking lot, Lynn Sr. then began driving to the park not too far away. Lily swung her legs in her car seat excitedly. She couldn't wait to see Dil again!
