Dil's Loud Love

{Flashback; Lily's POV}

When we first gotted there there were lots of people in costumes with all the ocean aminals and stuff which I thoughts were cool. My sisters and brother all wanted to go and sees different stuffs so my mommy and daddy tolded them all they could go but makes sure they were back when it was time to leave. After thats my daddy tookded me to the place where a bunch of other kids were playing and stuffs as he and my mommy went with Lisa and Lucy to go see the sharks.

I thinks their was a show of talking aminals for the other kids in there but I didn't really pay any tentions as I just founds it boring. I just wanted to finds a way out so I could come and play with you guys.

{Normal POV}

Getting up from her spot on the small mat placed out for the kids in front of the stage, Lily then got up from her spot as she made her way over to the gate that kept them all inside.

"Hmm..." Lily pondered for a moment looking for a way to open the gate

Spying the latch, Lily grinned in triumph as she reached to unlatch it, pushing open the gate moments later. Peeking out she looked around making sure none of her family was near and could just take her back to the kiddie play area. Sneaking out, Lily toddled her way down the hallway to try and find the exit out of there. Looking around, Lily looked for any sign of an exit as she quickly ducked around a corner noticing a couple of her siblings, Luna and Luan, passing by. Once they were out of sight again, Lily made her way down the path that her siblings had just come from.

Within her luck it was the way out of the boat aquarium as she spotted the exit on the other side of the park grounds. If she could at least get to the park where she got to play the other day then there was a chance she could see Dil again! Starting to make her way to the entrance, she quickly had to divert her path once again spotting Lynn Jr. rushing by to go and ride the Shark-o-whirl ride that was nearby.

"Woooo Shark-O-Whirl here I come!" Lynn's voice could be heard as she disappeared into the crowd.

"Lynn, wait up!" Lincoln cried out, suddenly running to catch up with Lynn.

Sighing in relief, Lily sneakily continued on her way to the entrance. At the same time, the play area worker noticed they were short a kid as she alerted the security. The security guard groaned as he muttered something about not getting paid enough as he began his search for the missing Loud child. Back outside, Lily had ducked into an empty stroller to hide from Lori and Leni who were walking by, she was more so hiding from Lori than Leni. Of course, with a sudden stranger in the stroller the child in the stroller began to cry loudly which made Lily quickly scramble out of the stroller before she could get spotted by the kid's parents. Crawling her way through the legs of the crowded area, Lily was determined to find her new friends.

Coming up on a small break in the crowd, Lily made her way finally able to squeeze out of the group of people. However, Lily had a brief moment of relief as the sound of a whistle being blown could be heard. Turning her head, Lily spotted the security guard dressed like an octopus heading in her direction.

"Hey, get back here kid!" The security guard exclaimed

"Uh oh." Lily said to herself, quickly getting on her feet again.

Lily made a beeline for the exit of the aquarium park grounds, she was so close! She couldn't get caught now! Lily ran as fast as her legs would let her as she got closer to the gates that lead to her freedom. Unfortunately, she was scooped up by another officer who was near the entrance as Lily screamed and flailed in his arms.

"Let Lily go!" Lily screamed, kicking her feet as the guard pulled out his walkie

"I've found the target, returning to the play area now." The guard spoke

Lily continued kicking and screaming as the guard took her back to the play area. Upon arriving at the play area, Lily's tantrum came to a holt when she saw an upset looking Rita at the entrance to the play area.

"Lily Loud, this isn't like you." Rita scolded Lily, taking her from the guards' arms as she thanked the officer for bringing Lily back. "Thank you sir, sorry for the trouble."

"Just doing my job ma'am." The guard said before going back to his post.

Lily pouted in her mother's arms, sighing sadly. Guess she wasn't going to get a chance to escape and find Dil again.

"Now Lily, do you want to tell me why you were running around on your own?" Rita asked the two year old.

Lily began babbling to her best ability to form words as she tried to explain what she wanted. All Rita had gotten from Lily's babblings were "Lily, play, and Dilly" which, luckily, was more than enough for Rita to mostly figure out Lily's intention.

"Oh Lily, I know you had fun playing with your new friends but you can't just run off like that." Rita let out a sigh

Lily just gave her mother a sad look, slumping in defeat.

"Alright alright, you clearly miss your new friends. How about I see about setting up a playdate tomorrow?" Rita asked as Lily instantly perked up in happiness

"Yay! Lily see Dilly!" Lily cheered in glee, clapping her hands

"Just one thing, no more running away. Okay?" Rita said sternly

"Lily no run." Lily giggled

"Good, now lets see about those sharks." Rita grinned carrying Lily off to the shark observations

{Flashback End}

"Wow sounds you hads a great venture even if you didn't escape." Tommy said in awe as Lily finished her story.

"I guess so." Lily giggled

"Well I'm glads you still gots to come to the park to plays with us." Dil said with a smile

"Me too!" Lily replied, before pointing out something that had been bothering her since she arrived. "Oh yeah, why is Savannah not with you guys?"

"It's acause her mommy and daddy gotted her new baby sister at the hopsicle two yesterdays ago after we lefted Taffy's show." Dil answered

"Ooh so now Savannah is a big sister? Neat!" Lily replied

"Uh huh! Hopefully we'll get to play agains soon but I can tell her you said hi." Dil continued with a nod

"Speaking of playing, what should we plays?" Lily asked

"Hmm we can plays on the teeter totter! Oh uh if you don't mind Tommy?" Dil suggested before realizing that Tommy would be left out if they were to do so.

"Nah it's fine, Imma go play on the rockey horse." Tommy waved them off to go play as he made his own way to the rocking horse ride that sat nearby the edge of the playground.

"Well that does its, come on lets go." Dil giggled, taking Lily's hand.

The two, hand-in-hand, made their way to the teeter totter as each of them climbed on the ends of the plank. Both giggled happily as they moved up and down on the teeter totter enjoying their last day of fun together.

I initially was gonna end the story here but I have one more chapter planned. It likely won't be very long but we'll see how it goes.
