Snakebites POV:

"... And then the policeman came and said I should put my hands up. What did I do then? I turned around and hit him!" Mousetrap said. Spiderleg, Longtooth, Screentime and I laughed. We were in a bar for criminals. My gang and I have been here many times after committing a crime. That day we robbed a bank. Spiderleg said, "We're rich, guys!" "That's the first time you're right, Spide-Spide," Screentime agreed. Spiderleg complained, "Hey, nobody talks to me like that!" Longtooth laughed like a pig again. He was a pig too. "That's crazy! It's been so long since we committed a crime together!" Longtooth spoke. "When is the buyer coming?" Asked Spiderleg. Mousetrap replied, "He should actually be here by now. He's apparently late." "Then we can tell each other stories!" shouted Longtooth. "Well, if that's okay." "Okay, but I'm not starting," threatened Screentime. She was our leader. "I can start, okay?" asked Longtooth. Screentime nodded annoyed. Longtooth began to tell his story, "Well, my story is called the rabbit is a clown! It was a stormy Saturday night when I broke into an amusement park. I ate stolen cotton candy, rode a merry-go-round and shuddered on the ghost train. I finally sat down on a bench and enjoyed the moment. I looked at the cloudless, black sky. I looked ahead when I saw an attraction that caught all of my attention. It was a life-size statue of a rabbit! There was a flash and suddenly the rabbit was gone! I turned around. I was scared because the rabbit suddenly stood in front of me. Another lightning bolt struck. The rabbit was gone again. I panicked when someone put his hand on my shoulder. I didn't hafta look to know who it was. I ran away and never went back to this amusement park." "Wow," said Spiderleg. "That story was so boring." I looked up when someone walked into the bar. It was the buyer Gilles Fabuleux. I waved to him. He came and sat down next to me. "Where's the flute?" He wanted to know. Screentime said: "First the money." Gilles nodded and put a lump of gold on the table. Mousetrap quickly took the gold and put it in her purse because it would be a mess if the other people in the bar saw the gold. Gilles asked, "Do I get the flute now?" "Sure," I answered. I took the silver flute out of my own pocket. I gave it to him. Gilles got up and left.

Gilles' POV:

I went into an old warehouse that served as a hiding place. As F.O.W.L. fell, we had taken the chance. We'd spied on the Ducks for years and got Doofus to use F.O.W.L. to revive so we could make plans undisturbed. We had also foreseen Doofus' defeat. It was sheer luck that he survived the explosion. I approached the boss' throne. "Sir, I have the flute," I informed him. The boss laughed. "It's a good start, but the next step will be risky," he feared. I offered him my help: "I have a solution for that."
