EPISODE 14 PART 2: The Signal From Outside

Della's POV:

I ran down the hall of the lab as quickly as possible. Donald had written me something terrifying earlier. I ran to a door that opened automatically. Everyone was already standing in front of a monitor. There were Donald, Daniel, Dilara, Gearloose, Rick, Fenton, Gandra, Ben, Speedy, Emma, ​​Manon, Huey, Dewey, Louie and Webby. I ran over to them and asked, "Is it true?" "Yep," answered Ben. "We get visits from aliens. The radar indicates that an energetic ship is approaching Earth." "Is it Lunaris?" Donald asked.
"No, his ship was destroyed. It's something different."
"So what do we do now?" I asked. I didn't feel like meeting another Lunaris. Dr. Gearloose replied, "We're going into space." I looked at him in disbelief. "Yes, I understand your questioning looks, but I meant it seriously. I've just finished building a spaceship." "And we're supposed to fly into space with it," Dilara said with an undertone.
"No, only five can get into the spaceship. That's why I've already selected possible astronauts for it."
That caught my attention. "And who is it? Tell us," asked Louie. Dr. Gearloose announced, "The five astronauts are Della, Fenton, Speedy, Gandra and me." "Oh, Gandra and I don't have time," Fenton admitted. Dr. Gearloose scratched his forehead thoughtfully. "Aha, yes!" He cheered afterwards. "Red nephew and blue nephew, would you like to fly with us?" "Yes!" Both screamed at the same time. "Is it safe?" I asked Dr. Gearloose. I was uncomfortable with the thought of two of my sons encountering aliens in space. Dr. Gearloose assured, "I assure you, the whole thing is safe." That was a relief news.

Gilles POV:

I walked the streets with wet clothes. It was raining heavily and I didn't have an umbrella with me. I stopped in front of a wooden gate. I knocked twice and waited. The gate opened. I wanted to go in, but a tall, masked man got in the way. "Who are you?" He asked me sullenly. I replied, "Someone. I was sent by the eye." The man winced. As I walked past him, he eyed me, frightened. I walked a few meters until I spotted a bunch of masked people clustering around a spot. I squeezed through the crowd. When I was at the front, I saw an elderly lady who was also masked. All the Beagle Boys were masked. I cleared my throat. The attention was now on me. "Who are you?" The lady wanted to know. I replied, "The helper from the eye. He's sending me to tell you that the deadline is about to expire. If you haven't given in the money by then, the eye will come in person." The lady was sweating and trembling, but replied, "The money will come." I left again. I still had something to do.
